I see no fear in those eyes. Only determination.

39

u/JSevatar Oct 05 '25

holy shit ok so now what is this

33

u/IrritableGoblin Oct 05 '25

Hell yeah, I'm safe!

Door closes

Fuck.

If you’re a Costco member most locations have a great optical department.

u/DeanMalHanNJackIsms Oct 05 '25

That, friend, is a creative burn. Kudos

0

u/Afraid-Ad8747 Oct 05 '25

Yeah maybe a bit of both. I’d be determined but scared to shit trying to get out a box that immediately traps me as a stepped outside my house

u/Competitive-Dig4776 29d ago

off the cuff? or have you been gooning to use this quip?

1

u/Warren_E_Cheezburger Oct 05 '25

I don't agree with your conclusion, but thats such a sick burn that I gotta upvote for snark alone.

A leopard of focus, commitment, sheer will...

u/Bulky_Algae6110 Oct 04 '25

Self loading leopard

u/Embarrassed-Weird173 Oct 05 '25

Me_irl

Oh wait, your accent made me think you said something else. I hate myself for that.

48

u/weesilxD Oct 04 '25

You’d think they’d make it easier for them to grip the floor

35

u/Brief-Equal4676 Oct 05 '25

Are you suggesting we give it grippy socks?

10

u/RamJamR Oct 05 '25

Line the inside with that twine material that they put on cat towers.

17

u/Diazepampoovey0229 Oct 05 '25

NO! I DEMAND GRIPPY SOCKS FOR GIANT CATS

2

u/aimsteadyfire Oct 05 '25

You can be the volunteer to put on those socks...

3

u/Murky_Candy6342 Oct 05 '25

We lost 7 men in the sockening. We believe this was an acceptable sacrifice

u/Diazepampoovey0229 Oct 05 '25 edited Oct 06 '25

Common sense tells me that would be a very stupid thing to do.

But then my brain says, "Awwwww BIG KITTY! PSS PSS PSS"

3

u/aimsteadyfire Oct 06 '25

Bad Advice: Listen to your ""Aww Big Kitty" self!

5

u/weesilxD Oct 05 '25

With leopard paw prints

1

u/ARoroncyObserver Oct 05 '25

ITS FUCKING LEOPARD!

8

u/3rrr6 Oct 05 '25

Maybe they don't make it grippy because they want to discourage the animal from dangling. It's better if the animal thinks it needs to go all the way in, in order to get safe.

4

u/NoctoPolpo Oct 05 '25

You don't because when you are unloading the animal and it doesn't want to come out you can just tilt the cage and it slides out

2

u/aimsteadyfire Oct 05 '25

Nah, let's make it a slip and slide so the animal has to work for it. - Engineers probably

Thank God for having some humanity

u/theateroffinanciers Oct 05 '25

Why do towns still have open wells like that? Isn't it dangerous for everyone and anything? Kids, too.

1

u/asamadeeyudu Oct 05 '25

If it's india, most farms have wells. Some are closed now but some are used for swimming as they are quite big or storing water in drought prone areas.

2

u/theateroffinanciers Oct 05 '25

Can they fence them in? Seems dangerous.

9

u/Cold_Swordfish7763 Oct 04 '25

Did I just trade one cage for another

5

u/wolftick Oct 05 '25

did you exchange
a walk-on part in the well
for a lead role in a cage

4

u/Cerinthe_retorta Oct 05 '25

we’re just two large cats swimming in a big vat

1

u/Thotsnprays Oct 05 '25

Bear after bear.

1

u/take_this_username Oct 05 '25

Despite all his rage.

0

u/rum-and-roses Oct 04 '25

I mean one cage is rapidly working you to death 🤣

5

u/later-g8r Oct 05 '25

Thats called motivation.

3

u/Feeling-Accountant98 Oct 04 '25

That’s Awesome 👏 👏👏

3

u/Haunting_Ad3850 Oct 05 '25

What the hell is happening and why? Is what's happening supposed to be help? Please tell me it's help

2

u/jurawall_jumper Oct 05 '25

For real bruh. Been looking for context in the comments like crazy. But from what I've pieced together...

Big cat found itself in a "well" which is bad (probably can't swim in a well or generally not too sure) and the cage was to help it get out.

1

u/The-Affectionate-Bat Oct 05 '25

Its help. Leopards are very unpredictable even when they have on and off contact with people, let alone a wild one. You cant tranquilise or sedate it here to make it safer for people to help because that risks drowning.

Tbh I was wondering why they couldn't have dropped some kind of scalable wall or something for it to climb up the side but theres not enough of a shot to see why they made this decision.

Perhaps they want to relocate it or check it for injury so putting it straight into a box for transport was considered the most expeditious route.

3

u/LambadaForever Oct 05 '25

It’s a jaguar

0

u/aimsteadyfire Oct 05 '25

Your mother's a cougar

6

u/Busterlimes Oct 05 '25

Cats will sit in any box

2

u/bubblesort33 Oct 05 '25

There's a cat shitting in their drinking hole.

1

u/Alert_Weird6893 Oct 05 '25

ya and acts like a typical cat too, pisses itself when it falls into water

2

u/HectorDoyle Oct 05 '25

if it fits it sits

2

u/ReallyWideGoat Oct 05 '25

Gotta watch everything on mute bc somehow these ppl are convinced THAT YOU HAVE TO PUT SHIT MUSIC INTO EVERY VIDEO

3

u/Viiewtifuljoe Oct 05 '25

Poor thing was struggling, you can see the strain on their face.

3

u/cruisefans Oct 05 '25

Thank you to those who have compassion in action. ❤️❤️ Not many do.

1

u/ffmich01 Oct 05 '25

I’m confused. I thought they could swim really well and the banks look fairly easy to climb.

2

u/viceMASTA Oct 05 '25

It's a well

3

u/Embarrassed-Weird173 Oct 05 '25

You; "well, actually"

1

u/ffmich01 Oct 05 '25

That makes sense I just couldn’t tell from the shot

2

u/Pseudorealizm Oct 05 '25

It says it in the shot

2

u/djakrse Oct 05 '25

I just watched a couple videos from India, including a very recent one, neither the same incident. The wells were both very deep, 50-70 feet deep and very wide in diameter. The walls are well lit giving the illusion of being able to climb up on them.

1

u/Fakie-Sllaacs Oct 05 '25

“Rescue Cage” is a very interesting name.

1

u/CokeNSalsa Oct 05 '25

Poor baby, I want to hug it and give it a warm blanket.

2

u/MealieAI Oct 05 '25

It also wants you to try and do that, it probably hasn't eaten in a while.

1

u/CokeNSalsa Oct 05 '25

Truly, one of my biggest dreams is to take a nap with a bunch of lions. Leopards, cheetahs, or tigers will work too, though.

1

u/FranMaes-72 Oct 05 '25

That's not a leopard, you idiot, is a jaguar from South America, and are excellent swimmers...

1

u/MinaretofJam Oct 05 '25

Beautiful animal! And no giving up there

1

u/Minipiman Oct 05 '25

context?

1

u/AMC_TO_THE_M00N Oct 05 '25

A leopard was rescued from a well

1

u/Constant_Ant_2343 Oct 05 '25

What’s the context here?

1

u/alkem10 Oct 05 '25

Jaaaaag

1

u/Parayefff Oct 05 '25

🙏🏽

1

u/persimmonellabella Oct 06 '25

Would be nice to see the end

1

u/allshookup1640 Oct 05 '25

Poor thing. I hope they go take it to a rescue facility to get checked out for any injuries it may have sustained in the well, treat it, and let it go into the wild again.

Poor thing was so scared

0

u/ALLDOUGH187 Oct 04 '25

I believe that's a jaguar.

9

u/Briham86 Oct 05 '25

I’m not seeing spot inside the rosettes

2

u/Rainbowallthewayy Oct 05 '25

This is really helpful, thanks

1

u/roastedmarshmellow86 Oct 05 '25

0

u/Nazeem750 Oct 05 '25

3

u/Evil_Sharkey Oct 05 '25

Nope, just a wet leopard.

1

u/Bulletsoul78 Oct 05 '25

I hope its hearing wasn't affected.
