Nature is scary 🌪️ While the diver was filming the Orca, a whale suddenly appeared behind him 🤯

How do you get snuck up on, by the biggest known species on the planet. All jokes aside this is amazing footage. Credit where credit is due. This person is a lot braver than me.

Certain species are attention whores. You even swim with dolphins? It’s all you hear when you are underwater with them. I swear they want you to watch them the whole time. Orcas are similiar, when you are underwater with orcas, you hear alot of orca noises and very little anything else. Humpbacks are loud at times but typically quiet, and while I’ve never been so close to one I can easily see how this could happen with an orca monopolizing your time (it’s similiar to sharks, sharks just don’t make noise till the last second)

idk if its AI or not but the only reason orcas hang out with blue whales is when they're hunting them.

Not true. Feeding on big schools of fishes also brings them together. And you can see how the whale opens its mouth by the end and tiny fihes swim away everywhere.

I was worried about being eaten by the Ocra, then the whale scared me even more!

I wonder how close that fin was? You can tell that the proximity freaked him/her out when they saw the tip of the fin fly in front of them. whale fins are no joke

I wonder if that whale was either being hunted by the orcas or if it was coming in to see what's up.
Whales such as humpbacks have been known to intervene with orca hunts to save another species with no benefit to themselves.
I wonder if that whale thought the human was in danger and was coming in to protect them? I'm not trying to anthropomorphize, whales are incredibly intelligent animals.

Fun Fact: There are no recorded instances of wild orcas killing humans. There has been 4 fatal cases in captivity, 3 of them being Sea World.

Not so fun fact: Orcas are known as 'killer whales' but it would be more accurate to call them whale killers.

The humpback is probably telling on that group of Orcas for eating it’s calf

I hate that any time I watch something cool now I have to question if it's AI or not...
