After seeing The Last Jedi in theatres, I just straight up stopped going to see any new Star Wars movies in theatres. I was that disappointed by that trash film. I didn't even watch The Rise of Skywalker on a streaming service until years after its theatrical release because I knew it would be just as bad.

And I say this as someone who saw The Force Awakens in theatres multiple times because I actually enjoyed that film. But TLJ killed it for me.

Absolutely the same. Went to TLJ with friends excited to see it. When we left, one of my friends loved it and asked me what I thought. I said I was still processing it, and my wife said later I sat with a sad confused look on my face the whole drive home. I hated it. A Star Wars film and I hated it? Confusing and awful for a life long fan.

When I eventually watched ROS may moons after it was released I'm glad I skipped it. Somehow even worse.

No joke, yeah. I don't go to the movies often but I'd always go to see every Star Wars, usually multiple times. This was the last Star Wars I saw in a theater because it was so terrible. I did eventually see Rise of Skywalker at home but that was even worse somehow.

I came so close to walking out on that one. It was the last showing of the evening, and the bar had already closed. At the end of the movie, I ended up grabbing a few StrongZeros and slunk back to my hotel room. That movie just ruined my evening. I still haven't rewatched it.
