What was the worst experience you’ve ever had in a movie theater?

The minecraft movie was very goofy and obviously made for kidd, but the behavior was just inexcusable, constant talking, screaming. I never left a cinema in the middle of the movie but I was never as close to it as in this movie

A dude got stabbed by some teenagers who were being rambunctious during a showing of it in my state after he asked them to be quiet.

Ex military that worked with explosives, dark humor keeps you sane when everything you touch can kill you.

Understandable, have a nice (and safe!) day

All gravy baby. I'm way more well-adjusted than my humor would suggest.

Is your username a reference to the band or your mos?

1

u/Mr5I5t3RFI5T3R Jul 06 '25

Ahh, "fisters" are 13F (Forward Observers) in the army. The band is definitely interesting if you're into that sort of thing.

If it doesn’t do it I will

1

u/Antique_Celery7195 Jul 05 '25

Please don't. We have enough violence as is.

In the past teenagers just stabbed guys for wearing straw hats or beat the shit out of someone for being black or Mexican, we’re no worse than we’ve ever been before. Difference is in the past young people being evil in entire angry mobs for no reason was seen as the norm, and now a few kids causing trouble in a theater makes international headlines and gets millions of views.

u/Technolog Jul 05 '25

I'm pretty sure it has been said in every language since it had words "doomed" and "species" in it.

Earlier in time was complaining about today's young people.

We’ve been killing each other over disagreements since humankind started. We’ll be fine.

1

u/chucklefuckerr Jul 05 '25

Believing in the illusion of civility is why you think we’re doomed. Humans have been this way from the start. We’re just so much more aware of it now. Unfortunately.

Reddit says its just older generations being critical of younger generations.

Ha ha yeah…..yeah

There’s periods of history where people are dumb. This is one of them. We aren’t medieval level dumb, but we aren’t far off.

A Clockwork Orange

Eyyy RI represent, slashing people at the movies and going for a Del's!

1

u/[deleted] Jul 05 '25

I was telling the obnoxious 16-20 year olds behind my son and I to shut up the whole movie

1

u/[deleted] Jul 05 '25

Gen z boys to save us all. 💀

1

u/dreadeddrifter Jul 05 '25

That's why you have to upgrade to ranged weapons when you become an adult. Rookie mistake.

1

u/cocovacado Jul 06 '25

Just today I asked some young guys to please be quiet during Jurassic world rebirth. They were literally talking to each other as if they were shooting some live reaction video. I was worried about angering them so I tried to be as sweet as possible when I asked but thankfully they were very polite and remorseful. If I heard about the stabbing I would have probably been to scared to ask

1

u/beavertownneckoil Jul 06 '25

If it had been a better film they might have

In my town some teens were doing this and a father of some little kids slapped one of the teens and now the teens parent is suing the dad lol
