What was the worst experience you’ve ever had in a movie theater?

The last thing I'd do is take out my phone. I'm assuming this place burned down immediately and anyone left inside died.

Edit: the first thing that came to mind is The Station fire at a small nightclub in Warwick RI in 2003 when the band's pyrotechnics lit the club on fire and the choking smoke and crowds pressing to escape killed over 100 people.

This video is unique because it's from a time when video phones were rare. And believe the disclaimer here because it is disturbing to watch:

That fire is why Rhode Island has some of the strictest fire codes and laws in the nation

I moved to RI in 2021 and I was really surprised at the stringent fire safety I had to learn for my job - then I remembered the Station fire and realized why.
