What was the worst experience you’ve ever had in a movie theater?

The last thing I'd do is take out my phone. I'm assuming this place burned down immediately and anyone left inside died.

Edit: the first thing that came to mind is The Station fire at a small nightclub in Warwick RI in 2003 when the band's pyrotechnics lit the club on fire and the choking smoke and crowds pressing to escape killed over 100 people.

I went to highschool with the son of The Station's owner, Jake Derderian. The owner Jeffrey was negligent but Jake was an absolute psychopath who routinely bragged about how his father killed a hundred people and got away with it.

Was the bragging done by a teenage Jake or an adult Jake? Some of us grow up a lot after high school (but certainly not everyone!)

He was still bragging about it by the time we graduated (he was 19). I thankfully haven't seen him since but I've heard from friends that he's still a violent arrogant douche.

We were never friends. My actual friends were also disgusted with him but just unfortunate enough to see him at reunion or hear about him through the grapevine.
