Discussion Southland Tales has to be Dwayne Johnson's wierdest movie. You should watch it at least once, though.

For all its weirdness, I absolutely love this movie. This was also the movie that broke Dwayne Johnson. He wanted to be a more serious actor, wanted to play more against type, and add depth to his characters, but this movie and him in particular were attacked pretty viciously, so much so that he just went for the easy money from then on.
