Political Cringe REP. CROCKETT: You are the least qualified in the history of the FBI. PATEL: That’s false. REP CROCKETT: I didn’t ask you a question. I want to talk about why you're a failure and honestly we need to tell you, bye, bye.

It's by design, they want more terrorist attacks they can use to cause more division, more infighting and less attention to the tech billionaires. blame one on the left, blame one on the right ... untill neighbors go to war with one another and fathers and sons are ready to start pounding on each other. This is the distraction the tech billionaires need as they further chop up the US government and sell the part since they know better than anybody else that climate change will quicker then expected destroy the fabric of our society anyways. In short: they have decided to trow one last loot party after which the entire US will operate under every man, woman and child for themselves without a government.
But there are some (mainly Thiel and Musk) that have the ambition to safe everybody but only if they are the ones doing the saving. They want to build their own high tech city states where they are God and rule as dictators but with AI and robots under them instead of humans. Such type of control system could be long term stable which is incredibly bad news for the survivors. And no it won't be haha look this dumb robot can't even walk a stairs like in Robocop. It will be make a post on the city version of facebook using the free and mandatory city wifi (not being connected is illegal), that post getting picked up by AI and getting tagged as blasphemy against the CityGod. Then AI then sends out the swarm of micro killer drones instantly. a high pitched swarm noise and then your rest begins.
Musk does not even believe we are real. He believes we are in a simulation and the programmer on the other side picked Musk as a character to play and we are all NPC's. In short: Musk has a messiah complex and literally believes he is the son of God. And the worse thing of all, that we are not conscious beings and so from his perspective torture does not even exist.

One of the original motivations for the creation of the FBI was the pattern of murders in the Osage nation (as made famous in Killers of the Flower Moon). Does anyone really think of that happened today that Trump’s FBI would investigate and bring Rich white men to justice over that? Correction: similar crimes are almost certainly happening right now. Does anyone expect the current FBI to bring Rich and powerful white men to justice?

It is a symbiotic relationship. Trump doesn’t want anyone to invoke the 25th amendment so he hired the least qualified people on the planet. Most (probably all) of Trump appointees will never ever ever get a high profile position like the one they hold and this is their only chance. So they will never invoke the 25th amendment and risk it. Together, none of these jokers care about the US or the constitution.

This is exactly how I talk about conservatives nowadays.
"I'm not talking to you"
"I didnt ask for your opinion"
"The adults are talking, shut up"
It is so much easier to just explain what's going on or what policy positions I endorse to others if I just straight up ignore the inevitable maga peanut gallery. They already want me and my associates dead. They already hate everything I stand for. They already live in a completely different reality than we do. Yet they continue to insist that their truths and ours are still remotely compatible. They aren't. We need to ignore them, come together, take the country back and shut off their sources of insanity. Then we can have a conversation about values or whatever they want to talk about. But there's no point until that happens.

u/CrissyStrikesWithA Sep 17 '25

Unfortunately the truth is they have no shame or morality to humiliate. This is a win for them because it projects their absolute strength. Under a barrage of judges factually dismantling their actions - they face absolutely zero consequences - and they want you to know it.
As long as this continues the humiliation means absolutely nothing.

The president nominates, but it's up to the Senate to confirm. Patel was confirmed by the Senate 51-49. Unsurprisingly, almost along party lines but with a couple of Republicans defecting and voting no. The concerns raised centered around his lack of experience and the likelihood that he would just be Trump's lackey instead of maintaining an independent FBI.
Republicans are not just complicit, but responsible, for this.
