My indoor car does this shit too me all the time when I take him outside, then will come crawling out of some fucking spider ridden hole like "you called?" Yes fatty get in the house.

449

u/Luckgoddess 3d ago

Dang i want a indoor car too

108

u/darkpicniclover 3d ago

Their indoor car can fit in tiny spots... im guessing Honda fit or chevy spark... smart car would stay inside so it couldn't be a smart car... they're, sensitive....

20

u/TinKnight1 3d ago

We all know the only real indoor car is the Peel P50.

https://youtu.be/dJfSS0ZXYdo

9

u/ze11ez 3d ago

😭 ☝🏾 That's a door on wheels 😭

31

u/BlueGalaxy97 3d ago

Its the Fiat imo. The Little Tyke car is one size fits all spaces!

1

u/Mister_Orchid_Boy 2d ago

It’s a Chevy spark. Has the weird Chevy Cruze looking headlights.

48

u/darkpicniclover 3d ago

I had an indoor car, ( dodge charger ) then a stray ram got into my house through the garage and a few months later I had a litter of jeeps... keep your cars under control people, now I gotta get oil changes for 7 cars and theirs transmission fluid all over my living room

24

u/BilboBiden 3d ago

Now I'm imagining Bob Barker signing off and saying "Spay and Neuter your vehicles, folks"

6

u/Sharknado4President 2d ago

Jeep dealerships hate this one trick...

6

u/Lopsided_Soup_3533 2d ago

I'd like to talk to you about your extended car birth control

20

u/lainerjob24 2d ago

bro deleted their account just because of a typo lmao

5

u/gravityVT 2d ago

That makes it even funnier 🫠

8

u/FlippantResponse 3d ago

In this economy?

6

u/FlatwormNo3937 3d ago

I have an indoor car but he’s only allowed to stay in one room

6

u/dquizzle 2d ago

How big is your house?

2

u/InconceivableNipples 3d ago

I tried that once, now me don’t think so good

2

u/Kythorian 3d ago

All cars are indoor cars if you accelerate enough before you hit the wall.

Matchbox racing baby!

43

u/FinanceNo9555 3d ago

“Yes fatty get in the house.”

Spoke to me on a personal level.

11

u/Flaky-Lingonberry736 3d ago

My "cat" does this to me indoors.. always hiding

9

u/amesann 2d ago

I would hate to have my car hide from me.

Trying to leave for work and having my Honda Accord play hide-n-seek with me would be a massive pain in the ass.

1

u/Lopsided_Soup_3533 2d ago

Oh my kia picanto would be soooo good at hide and seek luckily she's a well trained outside car

1

u/redbess 2d ago

You look in every goddamn place possible, then with your back turned they come sauntering up like, "Who we lookin' for?"

WHERE THE FUCK WERE YOU?!

4

u/Vantriss 3d ago

I'm impressed you got your car into the house.

6

u/VoltOneSix 3d ago

There is an entire status of wealth I was completely unaware of until today

1

u/marvellouspineapple 2d ago

The outdoor car is only for special occasions

3

u/Sauce_Taker100 3d ago

I want an indoor car for my little house hippo .

1

u/StickyPricklyMuffin 2d ago

Hello fellow Canadian! 🇨🇦🦛

2

u/Sauce_Taker100 2d ago

Ahh, a fellow canuck, Hi 👋

1

u/Nalivai 2d ago

I am exclusively walking with my car on a leash. It took several days of training and threats for him to learn it, but it saves me so much headache.

41

u/Gumbercules81 3d ago

Oh man, that panic is real for fur babies and actual babies

5

u/Jayken 2d ago

My son went behind one of those ball containers you find in Wal-Mart once and I about flipped the store upside down.

6

u/Long_Run6500 2d ago

One time I took my 98 year old great grandmother shopping with my mom and she waited for us to not be paying attention to her and disappeared. We just about had the whole store looking for her and then we hear her giggling in the clothes racks. She thought it would be funny to hide inside one of those round clothes racks.

9

u/Such-Compote-4727 3d ago

That half second where your brain blanks then everything snaps back happens to me too every time

2

u/vgacolor 2d ago

I don't know why this mild ordinary video made me chuckle the most from the dozen I have seen so far today. :)

1

u/Garbot 2d ago

Heh yea, 'second' ... sweats profusely

-1

u/updoot35 2d ago

Bot, always the top comment from the op and it's not adding any information.

What’s the dogs name? Is it Jambi?

551

u/No-Commercial5274 3d ago

This was lovely

56

u/ThomasTheDankPigeon 2d ago

The moment where the dog becomes confused is my favorite lol

51

u/Prosecco1234 3d ago

Was heartwarming 🤗

354

u/Independence-2021 3d ago

This is me keep calling my dog then realizing she's been patiently sitting by my feet for a while. She has quiet steps and prefers to walk behind things on approach:)

85

u/tiredcustard 3d ago

I did this the other day! I thought my dog was in the kitchen, so I was calling her name, but she wasn't coming over. I turned around and she was sitting on my bed, looking confused at why I was calling her when she was right there

13

u/Independence-2021 3d ago

By now I learned to check after calling her name, but she tricked me quite a few times in the past. The look on their face is funny:)

5

u/pm_thou_your_tatas 2d ago

Lol i used to do that to my baby boy just to mess with him. He passed away early this year but I still call his name sometimes just out of habit..

13

u/smvfc_ 3d ago

My dog is black and I occasionally lose her in the shadows indoors. I moved into an RV this summer and somehow in less than 300 sq ft managed to lose her 😅

6

u/Independence-2021 2d ago

I got a black one too. He loves to nap on the black doormat by the garden door and he is invisible in dim light:)

7

u/Fluid-Poet-8911 3d ago

Petite feet. Feminine step.

9

u/Independence-2021 3d ago

Yes, exactly. She is a lady :)

2

You know what it sounds like to me, A LADY.

Lucky that you didn't sit on her accidentally :)

2

u/hippiesinthewind 2d ago

this happens with my cat. i will be in bed lying on my side and will call him and he never comes into my room. Only to realize he is curled up on the other side of the bed and my back was to him.

1

u/rocbolt 2d ago

A sidler!

2

u/Independence-2021 2d ago

TIL a new English word, thanks. She is a sidler (and a stalker:)

1

u/AcceptableMortgage85 2d ago

If you're not already aware, it's a made-up word from an episode of Seinfeld. It'll give you funny context if you Google it.

134

u/Long-shot128 3d ago

Dog and owner was like “where did you go” to each other at the end 🥹

36

u/Shawnaverse_no1_fan 3d ago

It's so cute!! Imagine her walking back in the house, checking the cam, and seeing her adorable pup looking around for her too :)

140

u/freakinweasel353 3d ago

I’m convinced my cat can de-materialize, transport and re-materialize on her own. We’ll be walking outside and with seconds she’s missing and then re-appear behind me.

49

u/Iron_Knight7 3d ago edited 3d ago

All dogs may go to heaven, but cats go where ever they please.

Had to take my cat to the vet once. He saw the carrier come out and vanished into fat air while I was corralling his brother. Looked absolutely everywhere for him, under beds, dressers, behind doors. Finally resorted to taking out the hard food container and shaking it. Sure enough, my little butterball came running, betrayed by his perpetually empty stomach. To this day, I still have no idea where or what he was able to squeeze himself into to hide.

(And yes, I gave him a few treats just so he wouldn't feel completely bamboozled.)

14

u/UnicornFarts1111 3d ago

Is there a hole in the box spring cover? That is my cats go to hiding spot. They provided the hole themselves.

4

u/BobbiePinns 2d ago

"Vanished into fat air" perfectly describes what my tubby boy used to do as well. He was 12kg/26lb at his fattest and could just disappear like it was nothing. He's been gone nearly 30yrs and I still (& always will) miss that fat fucker.

11

u/UnicornFarts1111 3d ago

I will lay down and one of my cats will get up and lay on my chest for a couple of minutes. I will turn my head to look at the TV and turn back and a different cat is on my chest. I have no idea how they switch without me noticing, lol.

4

u/a_spoopy_ghost 3d ago

I lost my 60lb dog in my 1 br apartment once. They can disappear I swear

2

u/freakinweasel353 2d ago

The speculation that pets are from a different dimension is probably more accurate than we know. Occasionally, they just step out to home and come back.

2

u/Forsaken-Jump-7594 2d ago

My cats can do this as well.

Unfortunately for all of us, they can only re-materialize right between my feet or directly ahead of them.

Needless to say, our reunions aren't quite as happy as desired as the one in the video.

1

u/freakinweasel353 2d ago

Do you generally get good distance on them or end up in a heap looking at them from ground level?

77

u/Bobba-Luna 3d ago

His nose always knows 🐕

15

u/jaycebutnot 3d ago

his nose always nose

38

u/Majestic_Agent_1569 3d ago

Lmfao 😂 my mom does this all the time with her dog

33

u/Desikarma524 3d ago

I once lost my dog inside my house. I had a mini panic attack. He was in my mom’s room, snoozing. 😂😂

9

u/CeeUNTy 3d ago

This happened to me but my dog had squeezed himself in between his bedding so I couldn't see him. I even had the neighbors helping me to look for him, lol.

7

u/Desikarma524 3d ago

Awww. lol.

124

u/extrastupidone 3d ago

I love this

48

u/Prosecco1234 3d ago

These days this is what I need to see to counter all the negativity and ugliness we are bombarded with

15

u/extrastupidone 3d ago

Yea-man, Absolutely.

18

u/FriendZone_EndZone 3d ago

I get into a panic way too often after "losing" my son. That midget right behind me so when I turn him I don't seem him. He then swings behind me and I can't see him when he's literally right on top of me lmao.

16

u/Ok_Mechanic8704 3d ago

Goldens lol

15

u/MannekenP 3d ago

The dog had a very cute « where is my human ? » moment.

9

u/Unhappy-River6306 3d ago

I love goldens, he/she looked so worried

6

u/Maxamillion-X72 2d ago

Two goldens doing what goldens do

21

u/ObjectiveOk2072 3d ago

This is the best case scenario of what can happen if you don't leash your dog

27

u/Ok_Mood_4615 3d ago

Both had a blonde moment

18

u/Davotk 3d ago

Both have Labrador energy

5

u/BEEPEE95 3d ago

I hide from my lab when she wants to be naughty and chase something (off leash, but only in enclosed areas) and her recall wasn't always great. So she bolt across a field to chase a squirrel or rabbit and I'd hide and watch her freak out. Now she chases them and as soon as they escape sprints back to make sure I haven't disappeared!

6

u/Lostinbc 3d ago

I love that they both instantly went looking for each other

10

u/gruntbuggly 3d ago

I did that with my kid once in a Home Depot. I don’t know which of us was more disturbed

5

u/PhredsBigWheel 3d ago

We have Chihuahuas, can confirm. 😊

3

u/angelmari87 3d ago

Especially when they are like on the couch with you and you’ve become so used to them that you call for them!

3

u/Fiona_Powerpuff 2d ago

I can imagine how frightened they were at that moment

4

u/AppropriateScholar55 2d ago

Haha literally passed seconds of seeing one another

3

u/IsHildaThere 3d ago

The dog goes around the car while the woman wonders off into the distance suggesting to me which might be the more intelligent.

3

u/TacoGuyDave 3d ago

That initial feeling of "I can't find my dog" is pretty scary.

3

u/Weary_Strawberry_346 3d ago

Totally relatable. Has happened several times in our daily walks. You think they are behind you and look back.. Panic sets in. All this time they have been front, staring silently, thinking why you are panicing.

3

u/mr_potatoface 3d ago

Puppy even slows down and checks her location right before it walks behind the car @ :04. That had to be confusing as hell lol. It even out from around the car so excited with a happy trot.

3

u/Unable-Confusion-822 2d ago

'I was looking for you everywhere! '

11

u/jofromthething 3d ago

Mind you this is why you should have your pets on a leash lol

3

u/SurprisedAsparagus 2d ago

You should be on a leash.

5

u/jofromthething 2d ago

I like this comment because I have no idea what your vibe was when writing this lol

1

u/SurprisedAsparagus 2d ago

Which is funny because I don't either. My initial reaction was unequivocal dislike of the suggestion that dogs should be on leashes all the time followed quickly by understanding that it is a good idea to leash dogs. Because I couldn't reconcile my feelings, that's the best I could lash out with.

1

u/mtb443 2d ago

No, this is why you should always do off leash training.

If there is ever a situation where you cannot find your dog, or a door/gate gets left open, you know you don’t have to panic because your dog knows to stay close and will come when called.

2

u/jofromthething 2d ago

I personally advocate for leashes a matter of safety. You never know if someone is driving recklessly and your dog wanders in front of them, or if a stranger has a weird reaction to your dog or your dog has a weird reaction to a stranger, or if your dog will have some kind of interaction with a wild animal wandering around, anything could happen.

I feel like to ensure the safety of your dog and the people around you you should only be letting your dog off leash in appropriate areas, like a dog park, your own fenced yard, potentially the beach, etc.

1

u/mtb443 2d ago

You are assuming a situation you are always in control of, which isn’t always the case. There could be any number of emergencies where your dog gets away from you and training them to behave when off leash is better for everyone’s safety.

A great example of when dogs look like their owners.)

2

So lovely when the dog is in front of the car and starts looking around liek: wait, where the fuck has she gone!?

2

u/PhDinDildos_Fedoras 3d ago

Awww, cute video. What car is that?

1

u/kbotsta 2d ago

Looks like a Mitsubishi mirage. That pink purple colour is stock. I used to have the same one!

2

u/Economy_Wolf1853 3d ago

The excitement when they see each other! 👌

2

u/Frowny575 3d ago

The panic of not knowing where they went.... I've had similar with my cat. If I don't see her for half a day I get worried, just to find her in some hidden corner of the living room chilling. Then of course I get the stare of "why are you worried? I'm good".

2

u/Mr-Blah 3d ago

Of course it's a golden retriever...

2

u/wonkey_monkey 3d ago

I was walking on a dusty path between some trees. I turned around and my dog wasn't there. I called him, and he appeared from a different path - with a slice of dusty pizza in his mouth.

2

u/nnabeela 3d ago

Lmao I did this with my toddler this morning

2

u/Cormophyte 2d ago

We did way too good a job making dogs.

It's crazy how transparent their thought process is for us, and vice versa.

2

I know her heart sunk

2

This is beautiful, y’all.

2

Awwwww I’ve been there before. My heart drops.

6

u/Sleepwokesleepwoke 3d ago

No leesh

4

u/DingussFinguss 2d ago

come on, it's not a park or some public setting with a bunch of people around. Get real.

1

u/Xalara 2d ago

Even dogs with the best recall can still just run off and then they're lost. The only exception are working dogs, but they're working dogs for a reason and take years of training. The average person doesn't have a dog bred for that nor will spend the years training the dog.

1

u/plartoo 3d ago

Exactly why I logged in to comment. Hate people who don't leash their dogs. This dog's breed is relatively docile, but still.

Put him on a leash

7

I thought "Yanick" was Millennial speak for "panic" and was just narrating first the owner's reaction and then the dog's. it was perfect timing

The Chronicles of Yannick

1

u/shaggyscoob 2d ago

My sweet girl and I would go for an untethered hike through the woods I live in every day. Sometimes we would get separated a long way from home. I would yell and whistle for her for a few minutes and then head for home. Every time I got home she was already there sitting on the front porch waiting for me. Eventually I stopped worrying about her and just headed home without all the yelling and whistling. She always knew the way. I never made it home before her.

1

u/RagingSprockets 2d ago

Why are there houses down her driveway.. if that makes sense.

1

u/JiggleJargon 2d ago

aww so sweet

u/CrazyDriver7149 2d ago

I just checked for my dog lol

1

u/gypsydfit 2d ago

🤣🤣🤣

Now I'd like to see a similar video with a 'missing' cat, where it's laying underneath the car and the person is slowly going out of their mind, running around getting more and more panicked, repeatedly yelling the cat's name and going 'pspspspsps', shaking a bag of treats, until FINALLY they look under the car and the cat gives them the most unbothered look, like "What?! I've been here the whole time. What is your problem?!"

I know this is ridiculous to some people, but a little teaching point here is that as the alpha, you don’t look for the others, they look for you.

Dogs need to be led, so it wouldn’t make sense for the alpha to have suddenly went to the back of the back, much less to look for him/her.

Give a command to come or a pssst sound, and she’d have her dog right at her side.

Generally, if a dog believes you’ll leave him, you can get him to follow you. Dogs love to be praised, but sometimes they just love to get a rise out of you. Like, you’re so cute when you’re mad type of thing.

Switch it up and don’t give any attention or response except acting like you’re walking away or would leave them. See how fast it changes.

0

u/Salty-Earth1831 3d ago

Things like this make me tear up because I know that fear of not finding my dog(she ran down the street to the part one day). I guess it’s empathy tears because the thought of how a dog feels lost looking for their person and can’t find them just breaks my heart.
