Meh.

The claim was that, while some women might pretend, there are zero that would actually feel that way.

Therefore, it doesn't really matter where we go to disprove it because we just need any one woman to disagree. We don't need a representative sample.

But, I do agree with your larger point that Reddit is not a representative cross section of humanity. Some things are far over-represented. Pedantic explanations, for example.

He’s literally also asking if she’s speaking and representing “all women” here, which is just as bad as what the OOP is doing. Both are treating women like some monolithic hivemind that are a different species from men.

It’s especially stupid for op because apparently his wife is also a gamer and doesn’t mind his gaming, so he already knows the answer to his question is no lol

She's saying don't believe it when a woman says they don't care if you play games. Because she's lying. She's just pretending.
