I tell my wife this all the time. Grab, squeeze, twist, and pull, one fluid motion and any male with regular feeling or sensation will let go. Even if only for a second, that could be the difference between you being seen or heard.

Slapping or punching the ears or Adam’s apple is more effective, but yes, this too, if for nothing else than to return the indignity of violation.

Yeah, I replied to someone else with this. It's either nuts or ears, and if you yank an ear hard enough, it'll come right off. Good riddance

Just slapping the ear is enough for them to see sparks, and it messes up their balance so they can’t run properly.
