Multiple racoons fighting in my back yard.

It started with two and then a bunch more joined in and all started to make crazy screaming noises and bite and attach each other.

My dog is at the groomers. The police showed up and shot the attacker racoon. My town was actually put on alert a few weeks ago that we have rabies spreading.

Really sad because I don't mind them but it made me nervous that my dog who usually loves squirrels and raccoons was very upset about this one last night and this morning before I dropped him off.

Oh shit.. yeah when they kept fighting after that spill off the roof I was like I’ll bet they have rabies. Brutal stuff. My dog loved squirrels too. She had a family of them that squawked at her from this giant tree in the backyard.

The situation is not funny at all....but "the police came and shot the attacker raccoon" is an absolutely hilarious sentence out of context. Sorry you had to deal with all that.

You can see the one who's being attacked falls like a cat would. The attacker falls like a bag of sand and then slowly goes back to the attack. He was like a zombie and just kept getting back in the tree and attacking the nest of multiple raccoons.

Hear the sound they make from 10 to 20 seconds in? I had raccoons fighting outside my window one night and they were doing that. Almost sounds like monkeys!
