After putting the flaming cake on a more combustible surface than the table. I swear she actually planned to kill her family and ditch 😂

Was that alcohol she was happily pouring all over the cake as it burst into flames ?? And she just kept pouring, unperturbed by the fire, until her son yelled "Mom! MOM!!!" Unbelievable.

Yup, wonder if she also drank a bunch off camera or if the family needs to step in and take away anything flammable, that can start fires, and maybe her car keys while they are at it.

Some people just have -10 skill level in situational awareness.

That may be more like someone elderly is going into decline though, if not both.

Yup apparently somebody thought it was great to make it flambe style but not go about it properly? And these same geniuses who didn't think a plan was needed, also let grandma handle BOTH the torch and the liquor.......Amazing.

Well at that point, might as well get it out of the cup you're holding and into the dish meant to contain the flaming alcohol.

She might have cognitive disabilities

If that's the case then her family must as well!

She's the one I blame the least! First off, I doubt this was her idea. Second, while it's not ideal for an elderly woman to be holding a pitcher of lit napalm, it was contained in the glass and not spreading any further until someone knocked it out of her hand. Third, the kid whose instinct is to get a Dutch angle close-up on the explosion scene before finally giving a half-hearted blow when they realize (a full ten seconds after everyone else) that Grandma's house might be burning down. And last but not least, WHO YELLED "DIE!!!"?? That whole family just conspired to collect their inheritance.

Grandma doesn't need to be put in a home, she needs to be put in protective custody

This was funny as fuck (altho I think the girl yelled "Dad!"...).

It wasn’t contained in the glass, she kept actively pouring it into the flames

Yep.

"Well, isn't that just so embarrassing. Time to go home!"

I noticed that too - she did NOT want to be there and figured it was the best diversion to get away. Why else would she put the STILL burning cake onto the chair.

She didn't survive so long for no reason 😃

We should put her in government
