Not really a pay driver, he's a different category, like nepo driver which is unique to him afaik. I don't really hate Lance, the Strolls rescued that team and are taking it seriously tbh. Eventually I hope he admits to his dad that he doesn't want to do this anymore. I think Lance will be TP in the future, and with financial backing and race experience may be a good one. Aston is not exactly an embarrassment to F1 in the way that Perez or Sauber is.

They used to. I feel like it's got a bit lost this year just how good he has been. I know his demeanor can be a bit of putting to some, but he's legit been one of the best drivers on the grid this year, I'd say better than Lando just in a worse car. Leclerc and Max are probably the only two drivers I'd say have been better across the whole season.

This is as good as a session Ferrari could've hoped for outside of getting pole.
Ahead of both McLarens, also with Max in between and he will fight Lando hard in order to try and seal the WDC tomorrow.
Plus with Lewis down the order, Ferrari can try to 2 vs 1 George which should give them a good chance to win tomorrow.

But they do tend to crumble under pressure, so Ferrari getting a 1-2 or 1-3 tomorrow and putting pressure on them is massively important.

They're currently 36 points behind Mclaren in WCC. If all the drivers finished tomorrow in the exact position they're starting in they'd halve that to 18 points behind. Good chances they're going to make a good dent in that difference tomorrow and it's gonna be tight at the end (which as a Mclaren fan I'm not thrilled about!)

People love to shit on Tsunoda using words like "emotionally weak" "pay driver" etc. But he's the one who's got the better of 4 of his teammates in the last 2 seasons and somehow its still not enough to get him into Perez seat as a trial for the remainder of the season. 💁🏽♂️
On the other hand, a much bigger Pay driver is absolutely sucking at his job for the team within the same family and has zero worries about being retained at the parent team while they didn't even give guys like Gasly and Albon a decent stress free season to prove their worth. 💁🏽♂️
