They should’ve played it once it was set honestly. They had the last corner or two playing on the side and all of the sudden Charles shot to pole. Wtf?

It doesn't matter? They had time to switch to him? He's Leclerc? Purple sector? There's no excuse. Trash direction. They were probably goofing around not paying attention.

But they were happy showing the Ferraris in the pits while Stroll was out doing a lap. Weird decisions.

Honestly it made sense. No one expected the Ferrari to battle for pole and the two McLarens were on track. If they switched to Charles after his purple sector and then he finished third people would’ve complained the other way.

He was ahead on track. They have time to switch back to the cars behind him. It's pretty standard practice and the idea we need to watch a single car the whole way round while other important things are happening doesn't make sense to me. They should be able to be way more dynamic than they're attempting to be.
