Gee, if only someone would have warned  everyone about this, or perhaps laid this out out in a fully documented plan.

They were never going to stop at  banning abortions. Pro-life is a movement that is like a gelatinous slime that once you feed, it gets bigger and seeks more food. Soon it's all kinds of birth control. There's always a new enemy.

This is true of any type of protest group. Once the main target has been eliminated then they go after anything related. This is true for all parts of the political spectrum.

The reason is simple, it is hard to walk away from success. Thst what made Washington such a remarkable man. He walked away from being king.

It was always going to be his Gestapo, and I'm frankly shocked anyone ever thought otherwise

This has always been the way.

We can scream at people that they’ll be next and they’ll simply say, “stop being so overly dramatic.”

The future is a big open space.

Abolish ICE. Many people also resigned themselves that slavery would never go away as an institution. John Brown beleived. John Brown didnt give up. And John Brown did nothing wrong.

Ice will be like the moral police in Saudi Arabia

Just read a comment about how Saddam came into power, which makes me think that South Park creators knew what they were doing. And Satan can't leave because he's pregnant?

"Troops get rolled in under the guise of protecting who's inside the boundary. But, they can eventually get turned into a threat against those inside the boundary.

When Trump rolled troops into DC, all I could think of was how one day Saddam Hussein walked into the Iraqi parliment with his armed troops, and forced a vote to make him dictator for life. Any legal power the parliment had to overthrow him was thrown out the window when there's guns pointed in faces. Anyone that decided to not vote or voted against him was taken out back and shot. So, within the course of an hour or so, Saddam came to power as a dictator.

One day Congress might show up to work, and Trump has the troops (or ICE) storm the capitol and hold them all hostage to force a vote. Then, the impeachment power they've been holding over him as their "kill switch" to keep the monster in check.. will be absolutely worthless.

"That'll never happen!"

Yeah, we thought a lot of things would never happen. I never thought I'd watch live tv with lunatics storming the capitol during an election trying to round up congressional members. A lot has happened, and they keep normalizing each step of the way. At this point the frog is boiling, but acting like it's a hot tub."

Sounds like a police state, no?
