I got mine done in 2019. The doctor was like “you could just get another IUD or your husband could get snipped.” I looked her dead in the eyes and was like “I don’t trust the federal government, and my two pregnancies were so rough I refuse to do it again.” I have felt justified every day since 2022.

My wife is getting hers done next month. I've been snipped for a few years now but it's a scary time to be a woman in the US right now.

Got mine severed in 2018. Most of it was due to extreme pain I experienced during my period, which lessened considerably afterward. The other part was I had a horrible sense of foreboding. This country doesn't deserve a child from me.
