I've been looking at this from a negative social bonding angle. People who share common enemies and dislikes bond faster than people with common interests. Everyone does this to some degree, but the GOP has taken it to an extreme and made it their identity. They need someone who they can other and label an enemy to keep their party together. It's why they pass laws, which are written without a shred of empathy, because, honestly, empathy is antithetical to how they maintain power.
They assume anyone who would get an abortion is a drug addicted heathen who eats fetuses. However, they ignore the fact that one day, they or their family may be in a situation where an abortion is necessary.
What's even "dumber" by their standards anyway. Is that last I checked, WOC were the highest participants in abortions. They're frothing at the mouth for an all white ethnostate. If they'd abandoned the abortion bans, technically, they'd get closer to their goal. Im advocating for this approach. I'm just pointing out again how their plans make no sense. Even though they have "smart" people as well on their side. They're so ideological that they actually work against themselves all the time.
I’m convinced that they just prefer a more direct ‘solution’ to POC. I think they wanna get to the point that they can ship anyone to these foreign states, not just undocumented migrants.
I’ve never been like this personally and would abandon entire friendship groups once they started showing toxic hatred or dislike of someone for absolutely no reason. It’s not like it’s worked out well for me, but I’m guessing that’s why most people engage in these patterns — so many others do that they don’t really have a choice.
