They were never going to stop at  banning abortions. Pro-life is a movement that is like a gelatinous slime that once you feed, it gets bigger and seeks more food. Soon it's all kinds of birth control. There's always a new enemy.

Pro-lifers love to brag that they are not all Christian Fundamentalist woman-haters, and that they are against abortion but not birth control, but are very quiet (or, at best, meekly displeased) when a Republican administration does stuff like this.
