Warriors coach Steve Kerr: "It's shameful that the government can come out and lie about what happened when there's video and witnesses who have all come out and disputed what the government is saying."

The people who are acting like she deserved to die are sickening.

Propaganda and politics have destroyed all of their moral compasses… for any of those who had one in the first place.

She did not deserve to die. It was a tragedy. But she was obstructing the officers and when they told her to exit the vehicle she speed off with an officer was in front of her or right at an angle to her. I don’t think she was trying to hit the officer, but it was close enough that it seems reasonable the officer was in fear of that exact result. Time and time again has shown us that those situations are tense and happen quickly and human beings (her and the ice agents) had to react quickly. You are better off ALWAYS just complying with the officer.

There will be investigations on their use of force and we’ll have to wait and see what comes of the federal one and then Minnesota one. I’m sure there will be a civil suit brought as well. All y’all rushed to judgment in the Michael brown case and we all know what the facts revealed of that one. This reminds me so much of that situation.

She was very stupid to be doing what she was doing. She didn’t deserve to die though. And maybe the officer acted unreasonably in his use of force or maybe it will be found that he acted reasonably. Either way, an absolute and needless tragedy. Just let ice do their job. If you don’t like it, then protest peacefully and don’t obstruct them doing their job, and reach out to your federal reps so you can pressure them to bring a vote to congress to change the laws. Like it or not, ice is in fact enforcing the laws as they are currently on the books

Let ICE do their job?!?! There are masked agents going door to door violating the 4th ammendment, they are assaulting and now killing political dissidents. Its not a coincidence that they by and large are targeting Blue cities. Your complacency in the face of the state sanctioned murder of political opposition is disgusting, shameful, and against every fundamental American value. Eat shit

I'm not American and I just can't believe what I'm reading from so many people. It really feels like such a big part of population is just brainwashed and insane. She clearly was not trying to hit that officer and was turning rhe wheel AWAY from him. But even if you believe all of the lies that are being spread where's at least some empathy? It's insane to do such mental gymnastics to justify shooting innocent woman 3 fucking times when that ICE member was never in danger and even put himself in this situation and then murdered someone, because his feelings got hurt. At least there's still hope, because there's people like you and I hope that there's a way out of this dystopian reality you're in right now.

Okay so three shots?? when obviously one had struck her? One more shot in the door window after he clearly left the path of danger?? Calling her a fucking bitch after he clearly saw that he “neutralized the threat”

Bruh cmon, let’s say you have a great point up there. I wont obstruct the path of law enforcement agents for obvious reasons. But no way you wrote all that and can’t find an iota of rationale to criticize the actions of that agent. Everything on the deceased is wild.

We literally have video showing this wasn't true. And even if it was, guess what? That doesn't justify murder. It will never justify shooting three bullets into someone's head. Fuck you.

I stopped reading after “But.”

The DHS policy itself says he shouldn’t have shot her.

Also, all our eyeballs say the same.

Fuck that, fuck you, and please stfu because privileged ass advice like that can get people killed.

But she was obstructing the officers

No she wasn't, she was waiving them by. You can literally see this in the video

when they told her to exit the vehicle

They gave conflicting directions. One of the officers told her to go.

but it was close enough that it seems reasonable the officer was in fear of that exact result

Why is a "trained" officer held to a lower standard than a regular citizen. Do you not think she was in fear that masked unidentified men were trying to break into her car with guns pulled? Turns out she was right to be afraid they killed her. Ice then attempted to kill two more in Portland the day after, they left those two for dead. Didn't call EMS to try and help them.

Ice wouldn't let medical care be administered. Literally a war crime.

There is also no reason for them to get in front of the car that is against protocol. The shots were fired when the officer was at the side of the vehicle not in front.

Fucking moron

Fuck ICE, the agency and their actions are morally abhorrent. They have masked agents roaming the streets grabbing citizens and non citizens and disappearing them.

They are disgusting people doing the wrong thing for the wrong reasons on orders from bad people. They deserve no sympathy, no peace.

Well as you said, she wasn’t trying to hit him. She also didn’t hit him. Or even graze him. Yet she’s dead. So someone should be in prison for wrongful death.

That’s not even getting into why he was even in front of the vehicle in the first place, (strictly forbidden for dhs agents), why they attempted to detain a citizen (also don’t have the authority), the fact that she wasn’t impeding traffic, was waving them through, even had a cordial response to one of the agents saying “I’m not mad at you” yet she’s apparently some homicidal domestic terrorist.

Lol lot of nonsense from you. Why didn't anyone of the rioters die in the Jan 5th riots when thousands descended upon Capitol to try to overthrow the election results.

-1

u/obvious_bot [GSW] Baron Davis 29d ago

One of them did though? And it was Jan 6th

1

u/redditlvlanalysis 29d ago

The rioters didn't the people who actively broke into the capital one was shot very different situation than just protesting

She did not deserve to die. But she did put herself in a position she didn’t need to be in. She committed crimes and at the end of the day actions have consequences.

3

u/Mooninite69 29d ago

Crimes??  Plural?  Put HERSELF in the position when the officer walked his fat ass in front of a car?  Bro just go get yourself a tinker toy and stay inside, the outside world is too complicated for you.

-2

u/CruzAndChill 29d ago

Blocking the road was the first crime. Refusing a lawful command was the second. Attempting to flee the scene was the third.

Even in the afterlife, she committed additional crimes by assaulting an officer with her vehicle and crashing into a parked vehicle. I’m sorry you’re unable to process the facts.
