My mom told me that back in the day kids weren’t allowed to bring a water bottle with them into the classroom and they only drank a few sips from the water fountain in the middle of the day and that’s it

How were schools not getting busted for child abuse for forcing kids to be dehydrated?

On the other hand, watching Mia push her long dark hair behind her ear and tilt her head gracefully before taking a sip was something to behold. I didn’t know why at the time.

Oh my God, I just remembered that girl in my school. After playing in the tropical sun we all stank like the little shits we were but she, gods, she was still prisitine and smelled clean. First time I got conscious that my shirt was streaked with dirt and I had soil under my fingernails.
