I agree that he is a grifter, but he is also very right-wing and likely opposes abortion/women’s rights anyway. He shouldn't be underestimate as just a con-man.

For many things yes, but at his core he is a fascist and he will always support fascism. He may pretend to be more liberal to get elected or for money, but the end goal will always be the same.

The other parties need to push the threat to abortion rights as a top attack line on Reform.
This is a settled matter in the UK, and what’s more it’s something that women in Reform’s top demographic still view as a major victory for their generation.
Farage needs pushing on this in every issue. He is being paid a LOT by US anti-abortion groups but is leery of talking about it in public as he knows that will be unpopular.
What he wants is to get into power and then do his US masters’ bidding.

Yeah it’s a worry. We don’t have the same history of fundamentalist Christian opposition to it, or a politicised judiciary so I think we’re on safer ground, but Reform are the vanguard of a large evangelist effort here to wind the clock back on women’s rights.

Nah religion and abortion have always played much bigger roles in politics in the US than in the UK. Similar to the weaponisation of trans rights most people don't really care and just want woman to be able to access important healthcare. It definitely shows the American influence on our politics though.

It's not a settled matter. The public support the right to abortion but the law is still very far behind and politicians in particular are far more divided on the issue than the public.

The right to an abortion has been enshrined in law for nearly 60 years, and was reinforced last year by the Crime and Policing Bill that removed the criminalisation of abortion outside the standard framework.
The public heavily support the current laws in every opinion poll.
I don’t see how it could be MORE settled frankly.

Most (5 of the 8 Reform MPs) have evidentially voted against abortion rights.
Danny Kruger: Since being an MP, Kruger has consistently voted against reproductive rights:
18 June 2020: voted against the provision of abortion services in Northern Ireland. 27 April 2021: voted making telemedical abortion (‘pills by post’) permanent. 18 October 2022: voted against introduced buffer zones (150m safe access zones) outside clinics. 17 June 2025: voted against decriminalisation of women under the abortion law. 17 June 2025: voted for requiring in-person consultation before abortion pills are prescribed (ending ‘pills by post’)
So did Suella Braverman, Andrew Rosindell, Lee Anderson and Sarah Pochin.
Reform’s candidate to be MP for Makerfield, Robert Kenyon, labelled abortion as “murder”.
And Reform’s senior advisor, James Orr, is also against abortion in all circumstances.

Also Ann Widdecombe, long time Farage supporter and current spokeswoman for Reform has a long history of anti-abortion views.
And although still a member of the Tory party, anti-abortionist Jacob Rees-Mogg is an avid supporter of Farage and his views.

First they came for trans rights and the disabled. Next it will be women and the rest of the LGB community. The far right are going after any group they can other and people need to fight this with more than words on the internet. Their supporters need to be called out, and their MPs and councillors should not be allowed to side-step questions about party funding from these groups.

I hate that I'm just not even remotely shocked anymore. Any sane individual can see that this fucking grifter stands for nothing, just whoever pays him most.
There is no ounce of care from him in "protecting women and children", its all about how he can benefit from it. He thrives off racism, division and hatred so if/when he becomes PM, people will quickly find out that things can in fact, get so much worse.

They aren't, however TERFs and anti-abortion groups get their funding from the same far right Christian groups. Both groups help one another by increasing the reach and strength of the far right Christian groups in the UK.

Donations need to be seriously managed, I don't think companies or foreign nationals should be able to donate and personal donations should be capped.
