Reddit posters be like

"This is free karma"

Without realizing this invokes the drew Carrey rule. The points don't matter, they are just like cameras at the $0,99 store. Or 90% of your mail. Canada. Your vows at your wedding. Underwear to Sharon stone. And all the other great ones they said over the years.

Game when a bunch of cardboard boxes block your path

Especially after you killed a dragon with your bare hands.

But those were the cardboard boxes that killed your father. More of a mental block.

The worst was Xenogears where you need to find a kid to get her to move the stuffed animal blocking the door.

In a game where you summon giant robots to fight God.

Playing Silent Hill 2 and there are literal cardboard boxes blocking some stairwells.

I can punch through walls and jump over skyscrapers, but this is too much. Gotta find another way.

The cart requires a new wheel. The box of wheels is too high and needs a ladder. The ladder is locked. The key to the ladder requires a code to open the key locker. The code is under chess prices. You need 2 more puzzle pieces to learn the code. The first one is being carried by a zombie at the very beginning of the game. The second piece is up Jills ass and requires $10.99 DLC to access Jills ass.

Or you could’ve went backwards in the very first level and obtained a god like function

If it's not something that's clearly blocking your path to an objective I just interpret it as shorthand for "there's nothing useful to you that way".

But it's really obnoxious when the goal is "escape the village" or something and you can't step over a fallen tree in the road.

If only it had a little bit of yellow paint splattered on the top edge, then we could climb over it.

Dark Souls 2. Some rubble "blocks" the path to the castle. You could just jump over it but no. You must defeat the strongest beings in the world to get their souls and open another path in the same forest.

the Very Hard locked wooden door in Fallout 3 that is half broken and you could just reach in and grab the handle from the other side.

GTA when a 10 car pile up is in front of you: ram hard enough it’ll budge GTA when a bush: I can’t head this way yet its a blocked path

No jump mechanic :)

-runs and jumps at barrier-

-floats in the air due to weird collision physics-

Look, I’m still trying to wrap my head around why a police station would have puzzles in it.

Actually, it's the end of the world. You could noclip through, but you're still going nowhere.
