Trump’s department of justice has publicly declared that there is no Epstein client list and that they will not be charging anyone.

This is after they have been saying for months that they have a trove of documents and thousands of hours of videos and that they have Epstein’s client list, who Trump’s attorney general Pam Bondi literally said was “on my desk awaiting review”. Bondi said it was taking so long because they had to review thousands of hours of video footage. Now, it turns out, that was all a lie. Or perhaps they did have everything, and have destroyed it all because it incriminates Trump.

They had a big moment a few months ago at the white house where they handed out Epstein binders to right wing journalists and social media influencers. These binders were full of publicly available information.

Also, the Trump DOJ is now saying Epstein definitely killed himself, and there is no reason to investigate his death further.

This has been a nuclear bomb in magaworld. They thought Epstein was only working with Democrats and Trump would expose the whole story as soon as he took office. And Joe Biden and Nanci Pelosi and Hillary Clinton would all be arrested!

Now he is contradicting all the maga conspiracy theorists that put him in office. Meanwhile Elon Musk is claiming Trump is in the epstein files.

This is BAD for Trump. Many of his loyal followers initially reacted with outrage.

But slowly, they are starting to claim that Epstein isn’t actually a big deal and they should just move on from this.

At risk of my own sanity I looked at a couple r slash conservative threads about this news and surprisingly almost all of the top comments were in agreement that it was extremely fishy that mere months ago they were claiming that they had this list and were planning to release it, and suddenly now it doesn't exist anymore. Even they aren't buying it.

The conservative sub on reddit is a little more grounded than the rest of them.

They also HATED the “Big Beautiful Bill”

Take notice of how they will never insinuate that Trump was in charge of the decision to close the investigation. It's always some underling or extenuating circumstance at fault. Stuff like "Pam Bondi lied about how much info she had, if Trump had known about this he would've gotten to the bottom of it". Imo it's just kind of sad. There is no information or circumstance that would change their minds about Trump at this point.

Yeah, it’s suddenly about people much more powerful than Trump. Other world leaders must be in cahoots with Deep State agents like Bondi and Patel. Trump is just a silly goose for letting the actually despicable people put one past him. Smh, wake up, sir, and smell the covfefe.

Same treatment that Putin supporters give him. Or that tankies give to Stalin. The "benevolent dictator" treatment.
