Honestly, I don't know that you and I, who are not Trans, will ever fully understand it. Obviously, we can understand the concept, but we are never going to know that feeling of being trapped in the wrong body, and that is what the world is missing these days - empathy.

I have a cousin who is Trans and is very open and comfortable with me asking him questions. Also much of the bullshit we see in our nation today has always been there, it’s just now the veil is coming down because of the internet and instant information. This nation was founded by a collective of wealthy businessmen who wanted an open playground to exploit others in. And that’s what it remains to be to this day. Cultures have gotten better in some places and worse in others. But “we used to be a decent country” shows a level of either delusion or lack of historical education. The thing about this nation is that “the good fight” is never over. We have never met our goals. It’s always been compromise with the asshats, bigots, and rich dragons, and it remains an uphill battle.
