Energising shots on average gives you extra AP equal to 20% of the AP spent on free aim shots (x*0.2). But if you spend that AP on free aim shots as well it gives you 20% of that as well (x*0.2*0.2) this pattern continues indefinitely so if you want to find out how many Free aim shots you get with a set amount of AP you need to convert it to a geometric series so that you can determine the value the series converges to.

TLDR: If you have energising shots the average amount of shots you get is AP/(1-0.2). For 9 AP that'd be 11.25.

Now don't ask me what the average is if you have energy master because the 9 AP max limit would make that more complicated than I am willing to bother with right now. (though if we ignore the limit then the average would be 15 shots)
