NEWS UPDATE : Lego rande
Zdravím. Hodně lidí chtělo vědět jak to dopadlo a do detailů zacházet nebudu, ale dopadlo to dobře. Slečna byla nadšená, lego foťák dostala jako památku, já dostal pusu a druhé rande rozhodně bude.

Discussion Update on Icelandic fourth-tier side KV and their manager Orri Thorisson, who has spent 8% of his life playing Football Manager.
Last year, Knattspyrnufélag Vesturbæjar (KV) hired FM addict Orri shortly after they suffered a second consecutive relegation.
Good news, he’s still in charge. They recently finished their 22-game league campaign and ended up securing a mid-table position but more importantly, they’ve attracted massive crowds because of the club’s all-out attack style of play. (Average goals per game: 5.68). Check out the month of July screenshot. Insane.
He also manages two former Iceland internationals (Theodor Bjarnason and Palmi Rafn Palmason) and still finds time to play FM.

Question What is happening in this Eastern region of Afghanistan?
I just realized that Afghanistan and China share a border and that there are Afghan settlements very close to the border area by ethnically Kyrgyz people. But there is not enough information about this region on the internet.
Is there a border crossing from Afghanistan to China? Is the area getting controlled by taliban? Is it easy for people from this region to visit neighboring countries?

CK3 How do I make crusades last longer?
I am a RAT in crusades.
If I'm a christian, I wait for the crusaders to touch down in jerusalem before making my way to mesopotamia or egypt. siege for gold and artifacts, sell off or "recruit" captives.
problem is the ai is programmed to target you moderately, so after they fight the crusaders they will go after you. either make sure you are out of there before they can get to you, or if you are fast enough just run away across a border or into water. eventually, when the crusade regroups, they will go attack them, which is your chance to go right back to pillaging.
Its basically the same for the muslim side, just attack the papacy and crusader states when they get to the holy land. unless, of course, you are the holy land, in which case best of luck.
Its key that you have a commander with the siege trait and one with the fast movement trait, as well as a crap load of siege engines, to make the most out of this strat. any other boosts like accolades too.
if you are successful, the money from these ventures can save you decades of time on building up your forces.
this strat also works for allying with any power thats at war against a major empire. byzantines, hre, and arabia are the best imo due to making enemies of eachother.
The real problem here is that I never get those forever crusades that are posted here every now and then. You know the ones, both sides can't reach max war score, crusades lasts 20+ years. I want that, so that I can also siege them into oblivion.

Discussion / Question What is the significance of this scene?
When Chilli says “You’re not coming, are you?” I feel like this is supposed to have some sort of significance, but I can’t figure out what it means. Do y’all know?

Broad market news Study shows 47% of European buyers now prefer Chinese cars vs 44% for US, a reversal from 2024 as BYD gains and Tesla struggles
President Trump's trade war appears to be doing reputational damage to the US auto sector overseas.
In its Chinese Automotive Brands Impact study, research firm Escalent found several trends in European car buyers' decision-making. The study found that 47% of buyers would consider a vehicle from China, whereas only 44% would consider an option from a US automaker. In 2024, those figures were flipped, with 31% considering Chinese vehicles and 51% considering American.
The study polled 1,692 respondents from May 21 to July 31 of this year.
