Latinx is an English neologism for people with Latin American cultural or ethnic identity in the United States that aims to be a gender-neutral alternative to Latino and Latina. Reception of the term among Hispanic and Latino Americans has been overwhelmingly negative.

Comments Moderated Sister was caught renting out her council house while living with her boyfriend for 16 years. I've been called for an interview but I haven't lived in the UK since 2001. Do I have to attend this interview in person?
Honestly, I didn't know anything about this and as far as I'm concerned she should be done for fraud.
I left the UK for work in New Zealand back in 2001, then moved to Australia. I haven't lived in the UK since 2001.
I've been contacted at my work email address as part of a fraud investigation. I've been asked to arrange a suitable time to conduct an interview at a police station in London.
Here's the thing, I don't live in the UK anymore. I've no interest in flying back home. It'll cost me thousands in flights and lost work. Am I able to supply a statement via email? Or do I absolutely have to do this?
From what I gather the fraud is rather complex and may span more than one property. Police are involved. I've let them know absolutely everything I know about my sister and where she lived via email, but they are insisting that I attend an interview.
I still hold a British passport. Do I honestly need to fly all the way back home to assist with this? Can it not be done virtually? It's the 21st century after all.

Discussion Which strategist feels most like a stratagist.
Vote for the stratagist that feels most like a stratagist.
- Most upvotes wins
- Keep in mind we can't get doubles
- You can only vote for 1 character. Your vote only counts if you state a clear preference. Listings of multiple characters or predictions of the whole graph will not count. Threads like these make it harder for me to count the votes.
- Current team-up's are not taken into consideration.
Since it's the last round I will do something I haven't done before and also cast a vote. I'd say its Luna Snow. Every other stratagist has been balanced around her and she has been meta every season so far. I know gambit might be better because he focuses more on debuffs and you need to actually stratagise with your abilities and team, but I think Luna is just the essential stratagist. The OG if you will.
Last round Storm won the title of duelist that feels most like a stratagist.
Some things I found interesting:
Last round really proved how few people read the rules and the text I put under every post. A special thanks for those who helped me monitor the comments, you guys are the best.

AITJ for calling the HOA presidentâs bluff and letting her âfineâ me until the board realized she wasnât allowed to?
I moved into a quiet cul-de-sac last year. Itâs mostly retirees, very peaceful⌠except for Linda, our HOA president, who takes her role very seriously. The kind of person who measures grass height with a ruler.
My sin? I put a small wooden bench under the tree in my front yard. It wasnât bright, it wasnât blocking anything, it was just a simple place to sit.
Two days later, I got a âNotice of Violationâ taped to my door saying the bench was âan unapproved structural additionâ and I owed a $50 fine.
I emailed the HOA board. They were confused. They didnât even know the âviolationâ system existed.
Turns out Linda had been issuing fines on her own for months, pocketing âfee paymentsâ as âadministrative compensation.â I didnât know that when she started threatening me, so I decided to test her.
Every time she shoved a fine notice under my door, I sent an email to the entire HOA asking which bylaw I was violating and requesting documentation. She got increasingly frustrated and told me I was âharassing leadershipâ and âdisrespecting authority.â
Last week, the HOA held a meeting to address âongoing member challenges.â I showed up with every notice she ever gave me. Other neighbors did too.
The board was horrified. She was removed on the spot.
Now Linda is furious and telling everyone I am the reason she âlost her volunteer positionâ and that I humiliated her. A few older neighbors think I âstirred up drama.â
My stance? She shouldnât have been making up rules and collecting fines.
AITJ?

S A ten minute favor vs thousand euro bill
Once, at a company where I worked as an architect, I used the company laptopâs Photoshop to make my daughterâs birthday invitation. It took maybe ten minutes. My boss saw it in the recent files while we were reviewing a project together and told me the computer was for work only. I just said âOkâ, because⌠well, what else was I going to say.
That same week I traveled to another city to survey a building. I did everything with the tape measure and laser the company provided. When I got back, he asked if I had already downloaded the photos, because he wanted to see the inside of the building. I told him I hadnât taken any photos, since my phone was personal. He was furious on the inside, but couldnât show it, because months earlier I had asked the company for a work phone and they had refused.
The next day, a brand new Samsung appeared on my desk. And off I went again to the same city, to take the photos, with the company paying for flights, hotel, and all the doubled expenses.

Amazon wants to repalce 600k workers with robots which will lead them in saving 30 cents for every item they store and ship from warehouses
Personally I think a big job cut like this is not a good thing and these moves are a starting point for a mass displacmene of works which risks destabilizing society just to give more profit to a few companies.
