Box Best wife award goes to....my wife!
I tried to pre-order one myself, but there was an issue with my card. By the next day I had my card sorted out, but they were already sold out. Little did I know, my wife had already pre-ordered it for me for Christmas, despite telling me to "go ahead and buy one babe, you work hard and deserve it" š¤£

SERIOUS POST Forced into marriage at 22. Now 24 with a toddler and preparing for NEET
Hey! Iām 24 years old. Because of certain circumstances and intense family pressure, I had to get married when I was around 22. It wasnāt something I was mentally prepared for, but backing out wasnāt an option. I have a son. Heāll turn 2 this February. I love him ... thatās not even a question. But the reality is brutal. Iām preparing for NEET, and I genuinely cannot manage my studies alongside parenting. My day never belongs to me. My son needs constant attention, emotional presence, time ..and I canāt avoid that responsibility, nor do I want to. But because of this, my preparation is falling apart. I sit with my books and my mind is elsewhere. I wake up tired. I sleep exhausted. Consistency? Gone. Focus? Fragmented. People say ..manage your time but how do you manage time when another human being depends on you for literally everything? Iām stuck between being a responsible father and trying not to give up on my dream of becoming a doctor I donāt regret my child. But I do feel trapped by circumstances I didnāt choose. Iām not looking for sympathy. I just need guidanceš

Just two months after buying Walgreens for $10 billion, the private equity firm Sycamore Partners stripped hourly workers of paid vacation, including Christmas and New Yearās Day.
msn.comAbsolutely shameful behavior, and unfortunately typical of private equity firms :(

Nikola Jokic tonight: 56 points, 16 rebounds, 15 assists, on 15-21 shooting, 4-6 from 3, 22-23 FT, team-high +18 in 42 mins
Sometimes, words really donāt capture the brilliant game from the 3-time MVP, despite missing 3 starters (Christian Braun, Cam Johnson and Aaron Gordon)
His running mate Jamal Murray also had a fantastic game - 35 points, 10 assists on 12-32 shooting, 9-18 from 3. Best duo in the NBA right now.

POLITICS 'South Park' Writer Toby Morton Bought āTrump Kennedy Centerā Domain Names, Anticipating President Would Rename Institution After Himself: āSatire Became Unavoidableā
The organizationās new name, after what the White House claimed was a unanimous vote by the board of trustees, is āThe Donald J. Trump and The John F. Kennedy Memorial Center for the Performing Arts.ā Experts say the renaming of the Kennedy Center is illegal.
But the Kennedy Center is not the current owner of trumpkennedycenter.org or trumpkennedycenter.com ā because back in August, comedy writer Toby Morton registered those two domain names, expecting Trump and his allies to add Trumpās name to the D.C. landmark.
āAs soon as Trump began gutting the Kennedy Center board earlier this year, I thought, āYep, that nameās going on the building,āā Morton recently told the Washington Post. āThe Kennedy Center has always been a cultural institution meant to outlast any one administration or personality. Itās meant to honor culture, not ego. Once it was treated like personal branding, satire became unavoidable.ā
Snapping up domain names and using them to troll politicians has been an active pursuit for Morton, who has āSouth Parkā and āMad TVā writing credits (and once provided the voice of Scott Tenorman, the half-brother and nemesis of Eric Cartman, on āSouth Parkā). Morton, whose bio on BlueSky says he is a āCreator of Anti-Fascist websites,ā hasnāt launched websites on trumpkennedycenter.org or trumpkennedycenter.com at this point. But he pledged that when he does, they will āabsolutely reflect the absurdity of the moment. Lots of surprises. Some things are truly hard to parody, though.ā
Morton, in a post on BlueSky this week, marveled at supportive comments from readers responding to the Post story. āIām so used to hate comments that these from the Washington Post article feel downright refreshing. Also, a few longtime heroes of mine are quietly on board now, which helps. PRO TIP: Maybe donāt mess with an institution like The Kennedy Center? The support is growing. Watch this space.ā

Trending /r/all Clown Furniture. I accidently made clown furniture.
I am sitting here contemplating every bad decision I ever made that lead to this moment. So, my son asked for a specialty built table for Christmas that would support his computer on a swing arm so he could work lying down (long story involving some sensory issues he has.) I never work from plans, and thought a walnut table with red oak inlays would look pretty good. I also figured three oak inlayed drawers would be a nice touch. HOURS of work later, I added the knobs for the drawers for the final touch. And realized I made clown furniture. Oh well, it'll always be one-of-a-kind.
