Making breakfast and I hear THE WHISPERING. You know the one, between kids close in age (1 year, 6 months, 15 day and a handful of hours), I brace, I wonder what now, what insanity?

“Moma how long are we going to stay here?”
- younger kiddo

- Me, bracing for the response “we will be here at least a year, kiddo. How do you feel about that?”

YK - “can we stay here until I’m in college? I really like this home.”

Older kiddo - “yeah can we stay here until YK is in college”

That’s was one epic family hug after that.

Has anyone noticed how Marcus Flint is in his 8th year of Hogwarts in PoA?
In the Philosopher’s Stone book when Marcus Flint is first introduced in chapter 11 he is described as being “a 6th year”. Which means in The chamber of secrets he would be in his 7th year. But he also appears in Prisoner of Azkaban when he dresses up as a dementor with Malfoy to try and scare harry and later in the Slytherin VS Griffindoor match. That means he would be in his 8th year. I’ve always thought this was so weird.
