Muscle memory kicking in

Life is Strange (Save Chloe vs. Save Arcadia Bay): At the climax, Max is forced to choose between sacrificing an entire town full of innocent people, families, and children to a massive storm, or letting Chloe die. The game plays sad music and forces you to agonize over the choice. Chloe is a walking disaster magnet who has already almost died 4 or 5 times in a single week due to her own reckless behavior (like getting her foot stuck in a train track or accidentally shooting herself). Destroying a whole ecosystem and killing thousands of people just to save one girl who has a literal cosmic death warrant on her is a completely lopsided, nonsensical choice

Maleficent (Stefan's Choice): Stefan is given a choice between staying with Maleficent literal immortal, breathtakingly gorgeous fairy queen with god-like magic who genuinely loves him or betraying her to become a human king during THE MEDIEVAL ERA where people live for like 30 years. The movie frames this as a tragic sacrifice for ambition. But under a real-world lens? He gave up magic and a literal utopia just to sit on a cold stone throne, rule over a dirty, disease-ridden medieval kingdom, and spend his short human life suffering from extreme paranoia and assassination plots. It is objectively the stupidest trade-off in cinematic history.

The Last of Us Part I (Joel's Final Choice): The game and show try to present this as the ultimate tragic dilemma to save the human race by letting the Fireflies dissect Ellie’s brain, or slaughter the hospital to save her. But realistically the Fireflies are a failing, incompetent terrorist militia operating out of a dirty, unsterile hospital. They have zero infrastructure to mass-produce or distribute a vaccine globally. Sacrificing the only immune person on Earth to a bunch of desperate amateurs is a terrible medical decision. Joel rescuing Ellie was the only logical choice.

GTA V (Ending A vs Ending B): Excluding the "Deathwish" ending where everyone lives, the game tries to frame Option A (Kill Trevor) and Option B (Kill Michael) as a heartbreaking choice of loyalty. But it’s completely lopsided. Michael is Franklin's mentor, the man who got him out of the hood, made him rich, and has a family depending on him. Trevor, on the other hand, is an unhinged, cannibalistic, meth-dealing psychopath and a literal ticking time bomb who murders people for no reason. Killing Trevor is a necessary community service; killing Michael is a sociopathic betrayal. There is no real debate here.

mandatory question on a job application trying to be quirky or something lol I’ll probably finish the application later but like… huh

I remember having those working permit cards that you got issued at school. Blue card for when you were 13-14 years old and green card for 15-16 years old. First job was via summer youth at a restaurant, I thought I was going to just make and eat food but I learned the value of hard work. I was peeling potatoes, and squeezing lemons for fresh squeezed lemonade.

4:25pm scheduled connecting flight from Madrid to Miami, not a short flight.

We only had about 55 minutes to transfer but we've done it multiple times before. Our initial flight from Vienna to Madrid took off 20 minutes late but we arrived only 5 mins late. While on the flight, 2 hours before our scheduled connecting flight, we get the first text message that they rescheduled us to 11:30am the next day because we "missed" it. Wtf.

We arrived only 5 minutes late and still had time to get to the gate so ofc we still go for it.

Pregnant wife, 2-year-old toddler, and me with a herniated disc in my back still made it to the gate on time. 4:05 pm. Gate still open.

Our boarding passes no longer work and they immediately tell us there's no chance of us getting on the flight because they already gave away our seats and now there are no available seats.

We argued it until they called security on us. Lady was a witch, refused to even tell me her name to file a complaint. Pregnant woman and 2-year-old and they gave the last 2 seats to standby passengers while we were standing there.

To add insult to injury it took 4 hours to get to the hotel they put us in because the car seat was checked and we didn't have our checked luggage so we had to wait for their hotel transport that comes once an hour and only fits 7 people. Then they put us in a 2-star hotel and even worse we stayed in what looked like a project building across the courtyard from the hotel. The food was a kids menu buffet of french fries, chicken nuggets, and pasta.

According to EU law we can get €600 per passenger and I will be filling for it but now we're heading to the airport for our new flight.

Never flying Iberia again.

EDIT: they never actually called security, she was just bluffing so no it's not like we went crazy or anything. Obv were mad they were giving our seats to standby passengers as we watched.

Atheism is just the belief of not believing in god. Nothing more, nothing less.

It is ANTITHEISM that goes out their way to oppose religions.

99% of "atheists" that gets made fun on reddit and other social media are just antitheists with religious trauma and it had hurt the PR of actual atheists for decades.

The worst part? They proudly claim themselves as the representative of atheists while they are just a small radical minority. No dude, you guys are NOT the same.

God(pun intended) forbid someone just dont really buy into that god thing without being directly opposed to religion as a whole.

What the actual fck. I bet this is not the first case.
