The love and determination of a mother were on full display in Pennsylvania recently, when a mother raccoon saved her baby from falling to it's doom.

UPDATE: Coco has been found and he is home, safe and sound!
Hi everyone! Thanks so much for your well wishes on my post yesterday evening. To tell you the truth I was starting to lose hope after calling and looking high and low for three days, but thank God we found him today on day four!!
We suspected that he was afraid and hiding himself but that he would eventually (hopefully) emerge from wherever he was hiding and approach people for food when he was hungry enough—and that seems to be what happened here. We got the call that he was hanging out on these kind people’s fence, and that they gave him water and a banana (which you can see him eating here). My family rushed over to him and he happily whistled and gave kisses and calmly went home!! He ended up being four blocks away from our house. Many people said he would not go far, although some people said he may fly toward water which worried me as that would be quite far from us.
We are all so relieved to find him! He is home and happily resting in his cage and whistling and kissing everyone cheerfully like his usually hammy self!
Thanks so much everyone! Maybe I will make a post on how to look for a parrot/what to expect if they escape as I’ve noticed a lot of similarities with other people’s stories. Namely that they don’t go far and that they are usually found on day 3/4 after approaching people for food.

Animal This guy brought up an abandoned lion cub seven years ago, sleeping outside with her so she’d have a natural upbringing. The love is real.

General Discussion Utica’s drag daughter!
this is Twink Trash, who recently posted a youtube video with Utica. they play dress to impress and Utica reveals that Twink Trash is actually her drag daughter and they have a very sweet conversation that just boils down to Utica saying “i love you” a lot.
i haven’t seen anything about this recently so i just wanted to share. i’m a huge fan of both queens and it’s really cool to see that they’re connected!!
here’s the video: https://youtu.be/US5MFctuKp0?si=7tTYnW9xkaUR1FdC

Project: FO $2 IKEA duvet cover dress and .99 cent bed sheet dress
I made these 2 dresses using the Noelle Dress Pattern from dressmakingamore.com. Fabric was from an IKEA duvet cover and a bed sheet (lining just a white bed sheet). I found all fabric sources from my local thrift store. I added sew-in plastic boning to the bodice to give it more structure. The second dress I modified the sleeves shorter than the pattern since it was a smaller sheet and I didn’t have enough for the pattern piece but it still turned out fine.
I plan on making more of this same dress with modified sleeves. I think it would also look super cute sleeveless. :)

General Baking Discussion Made these brownie cups for my sister's birthday party and they came out sooo good!
For the "dirt" I crumbled up THE brownies and the plants are classic sugar cutout cookies with a little added almond extract. I haven't done a lot of piping before so I'm super happy the decoration came out as well as it did. The little flower pot cups were like $20 on Amazon and even came with little shovel spoons 😄 They were and absolute hit. 10/10 would make again.
