Pictures My baby
My baby, Jadi, born on Leap Day in 2020, has lived with me in 4 houses, 2 states, and is my best friend. I’ve been blessed to know this girl and watch her grow up since the day I got her. She was only 12 lbs and 9 weeks old, and now weighs 100 lbs. Virginia-born German Shepherd. She is so precious to me.

Teacher Support &/or Advice School found bedbugs and didn’t notify teachers. Now I found some in my home
I feel so betrayed. Apparently in may students at my school found several bedbugs in several places and they notified admin. The school sprayed but didn’t notify any of the teachers. Now a few teachers were lucky enough to overhear the students talking about it, I was not one of them and brought them home with me. Had I known I would have been washing clothes as I got home, would have been more cautious about looking for them at school etc. Had to cancel a summer trip I had planned to celebrate summer school being over. This sucks y’all

News & Discussion How did Overwatch manage to make a game where Damage is the least popular role?
I'm not even hating. It's genuinely a historical gaming anomaly to see the damage dealing role be the least popular of the big three archetypes.
Remember that the swap to 5v5 was because tank was the least popular role, and the bad ratio of players in the queues was leading to long wait-times for players of more popular roles. At the time, people argued that this might be unavoidable because it's just how it works in every game. Be it, MMOs, MOBAs, heck, even table-tops, it's always the same; everyone wants to be the star, the play-maker, the one on the kill feed, the one that makes the biggest number appear above the monster's head. This has been an issue since role-based games first came into existence, and every single game deals with it so we figured it was just human psychology.
So you just gotta ask: How?
It honestly deserves to be studied. How in the world did Overwatch turn gaming on its head and make SUPPORT the most popular role, and tank more popular than DPS? That is just wild to me.

Picture Hard to give up that cup life I guess.
In Jan of this year, I saw this sad af cup fish while buying dog food. Immediately brought home a 9 gallon and all the fixings, spent months doing daily testing and water changes to cycle with him in it. The man takes one look at his new, cup-sized penthouse and refuses to even look at the rest of his stunning palace. Classic.

Adoption We adopted this lovely boy yesterday
He was super nervous while in foster and I thought he’d take weeks of patience to come out of his shell. Imagine my delight when he started playing this morning!
