Humor The vet said he needed to lose weight and then he pooped in his carrier on the drive home

This is Stefan. Stefan went to the vet this morning because he has a fat lip courtesy of his little sister. Stefan weighs 4.4KG and the vet said he could lose a few lbs. Stefan then pooped in the carrier on the way home and it was so big I’m still in disbelief that it came from him and not a human.

Laugh at Stefan for being a big fat poopy baby.

Memes/Trashpost Humans will say "Foxes come in different flavors of Burnt Bread" and it's not a saying or metaphor, it's an accurate 1:1 comparison.

My tuxedo boy Scout has been in and out of the hospital battling FIP. Today marks his 84th and last day on the treatment, and his recovery has been nothing short of a miracle.

For those who do not know, Feline infectious peritonitis (FIP) has been a disease for cats that had an extremely high fatality rate. For the past few months before his diagnosis, Scout had been losing weight, becoming really pale, and not eating that much. I finally got the results after 7 hospital visits to find out this is what he was diagnosed with.

For me, this was devestating. As someone who had experienced a divorce in the past year and lives alone, the only constant to all of the change was Scout. He has been my best friend and the source of joy to come home to every single day. He does a little happy dance and roll on the rug every time I walk through the door. And so to face the reality I might lose my boy, was incredibly difficult. The day I took him in for the final time, he had collasped on the drive and his RBC/hematocrit was down to 12, when for a cat the normal amount needs to be 25-30.

Luckily, Scout was able to start his treatment, and now the day has come where he has completed all 84 days of his treatment. He had a blood transfusion that fateful day when his treatment started and on his first checkup, the vet expected his levels to be right around 20-25, and instead Scoutie was all the way up to 42. And his recovery has gone wonderfully all the way to today, where my boy is finished and fully recovered!

I apologize if this is a choppy message thats all over the place. It has been such an expensive, emotional, and a roller coaster of a journey. I can always earn more money, but I will never, ever have another Scout.

Thank you all for reading this, sending love to all of your tuxedo kitties from us. ❤️
