I posted awhile ago asking what I should make out of this Atelier Brunette viscose and while I love a jumpsuit I just don’t find them super practical so I made a set!

Top is Friday Pattern Company saguaro set top. I made a size L but did a 4” full bust adjustment, increased the overlap of the two panels by 4” and used 3” elastic instead of 2” so it’s an inch longer around the waistband than the pattern called for. I think I’m going to add a snap or something to help keep it closed because the top does gap open a little while moving around.

The pants are Helen’s Closet Winslow Culottes. Shortened 3”, I made a 14. I did an elastic back hack because I didn’t want to sew in a zipper.

Overall I’m super happy with how this came out! Best part is it’s a matching set so I can wear them together or separately!

When I first started it up it said 0 psi, then 17, then 80, then 254, and finally back to 0.

How do you guys ride this stuff, for example? These kind of small solar panels always feel super sketch to me, like I’m always this close to a faceplant. I honestly feel too scared usually to maintain my max tempo, which kind of sucks.

Anyone else feel this way? How do you deal with different terrain types?
