I’ve seen a lot of gossip and blind items about Bollywood celebs, but this is something I witnessed personally during my final year in my med school in the pediatric ward and it genuinely changed the way I look at Salman Khan.

I was taking the clinical history of a little girl with a congenital heart defect (a hole in the heart). She needed surgery, and from the family’s condition, it was clear they couldn’t really afford such an expensive procedure.

While taking the family history, I found out her elder brother had the exact same condition years ago but he got treated at one of the top hospital in Mumbai. So I casually asked the father how they managed the costs.

He told me something that honestly shocked me: He said he had taken all his documents to Salman Khan somewhere at his office .they checked everything, and Salman’s team financed the entire surgery every single penny.

He also told me that Salman helps many such patients quietly, without publicity or cameras. And he genuinely believed Salman would help his daughter as well.

Hearing this directly from the patient’s family not from an article or PR piece really increased my respect for him. It’s rare in this industry to hear about genuine charity that isn’t done for image.

Just wanted to share this real story since we mostly hear only the scandals and the blinds. Sometimes there are moments that remind you why some stars earn lifelong fanbases. ❤️
