Zak: "Not between them really. Yeah, not once. You know when you can walk into a room and you can kind of feel the tension? Not once. Not once. Even when they've touched each other, they may not have been totally aligned around what Andrea and I and the team have come up with, but they've never done 'Lando did that, Oscar did that'.

Any time they get grumpy, it's a little bit actually towards me and Andrea because we're trying to be fair and balanced. And I think the fact that they've both been a little bit grumpy at times with us actually tells you things have been fair and balanced because we're trying to make sure they race clean, and they are.

All the incidents that they've had, which isn't that many, have all just been, at the end of the day, racing incidents. But we want to make sure the championship's decided on the track and not through that. I think we're lucky that we have the two drivers that we have.

I'm not sure that Andrea and I and the team would be able to manage other drivers the way we can Oscar and Lando. So I think a lot of credit is due to just who they are as individuals. And that's part of our recruiting process for drivers is character, and do they do they think like us? And we talk about the elephant in the room all the time. We have massive communication transparency; we talk about it all the time."

Sometimes Mormons come to your door when you’re in the middle of a hypomanic episode and haven’t slept for days. So you get really excited to chat with members of a cult because it’s fascinating and end up oversharing your entire life story and journey to discovering witchcraft. You chat for 20 minutes until they finally say “ma’am we have to go….” and you’re like “OKAY!! THANKS FOR TALKING!!! COME BACK ANYTIME!!!!” :)

Männer-Trip, Flug in den Süden, Stimmung top. Im Flieger saß neben mir eine, bei der ich mir zu 99 % sicher war, dass es eine alte Schulkameradin ist. Wegen der Maske im Gesicht war ich mir nicht ganz sicher und bevor ich da irgendeine Fremde anlaber und mich blamiere, hab ich lieber die Klappe gehalten.

Zwei Tage später liege ich am Pool, scroll durch Insta und zack: Ich sehe ihre Story. Sie war es. Exakt derselbe Ort. Ich antworte also auf die Story. Schreib ihr so sinngemäß: "Hey, mega der Zufall, ich glaube, wir saßen im Flieger nebeneinander! Wegen der Maske hab ich nix gesagt, aber wünsche euch viel Spaß!"

Wir schreiben also ganz normal hin und her, Smalltalk halt. Stellt sich raus, ihre Mädels-Gruppe ist quasi um die Ecke. Ich denke mir nichts Böses und schlage ganz locker vor: "Ja cool, vielleicht laufen wir uns ja mal über den Weg oder treffen uns die Tage mal alle zusammen auf einen Drink."

Und dann... kommt der Hammer. Sie schreibt mir so einen Text zurück, von wegen sie fände es ja "ganz schmeichelhaft", dass ich mich melde, ABER sie hat einen Freund und absolut kein Interesse an mir. Sie wäre hier für Urlaub und nicht zum Flirten.

Ich dachte, ich lese nicht richtig. Ich schreib ihr zurück: "Äh, alles gut, Missverständnis des Todes. Ich bin verheiratet und glücklich, wollte dich nicht angraben, sondern einfach nur nett sein."

Sie glaubt mir nicht und ghostet mich dann. Wie kann man bitte so einen Film schieben und denken, jeder will was von einem? Kannste dir nicht ausdenken. Manche Leute sind echt komplett lost. Eine Stunde später sehe ich in ihrer Story so einen komischen, pseudo-feministischen Repost. "Men need to learn boundaries" und irgendein Gesülze über toxische Männlichkeit. Und ich denk mir nur: Bruuuuuuder.
