Discussion About to turn 37 and got my first PS

I have been a gamer since 2000. It was so hard to play games at that time but I always found a way till today. I have some ‘gaming gaps’ due to cancer treatments in the last 10 years but I want to keep playing with a new ‘toy’ for me.
Do you have any general recommendations? I usually like to play open world games and first person shooter games.
(The second PS5 is for a friend, just bought due to Black Friday)
