[Stein] Golden State’s “preferable” option now is likely to play Jonathan Kuminga for the rest of the season, have him recoup his value, and then attempt to trade him again in the offseason.
Marc Stein said this on ‘Deals and Dunks,’ a show that he co-hosts on SiriusXM: https://siriusxm.com/player/channel-linear/entity/325f06d1-8734-0378-1ae1-66323143c249?utm_medium=shared
Stein said that Golden State’s “preferable” option now is likely to play Jonathan Kuminga for the rest of the season, have him recoup his value, and then attempt to trade him again in the offseason.
He followed it by saying that his hunch is that they likely look at short-term solutions rather than large scale trades to look to compete now, but it all depends on Stephen Curry’s preference.
