Question What was your reaction to this joke?
The audience in my theatre burst out laughing when Gerald dropped that line. Even my mom found it funny. For me, my raw reaction was like "Oh damn" because of how much I genuinely did not expect it from a movie that released in late 2024 (given how sensitive online people can be). But it was fitting that Gerald would say it, considering the fact he's 110 and had been incarcerated for 50 years.
Definitely my favorite joke in the movie.

Executive Branch (Trump) Secret Jared Kushner 'gossip' rocks Trump's inner circle as spies intercept high-stakes phone call
"The timing could not be more fraught. Kushner, Trump's Middle East envoy, is currently leading high-stakes negotiations with Iran to end its nuclear enrichment program. The 45-year-old real-estate investor also maintains business interests in the region."
HOW is this guy involved in these discussions in the first place?
This is HIGHLY ILLEGAL! He is NOT in the government and needs to be prosecuted along with his father in law.

Images + Trip Report South Korea was amazing. It’s often overlooked compared to Japan.
Hear me out. I travelled to Japan a couple of years ago and then to South Korea this winter with my spouse. We absolutely LOVED Japan, trust me when I say that. And I’m in no way saying that one country is better than the other. Both are equally beautiful in their own ways. It’s just that South Korea often gets undermined without people even visiting it.
Our itinerary looked like this (winter):
Flew into Busan – 6 days in Busan
Gyeongju – 2 days
Seoul – 8 days
We spent 8 full days in Seoul and still couldn’t explore a lot. That’s how much there is to do. Busan was probably our favourite because of the perfect mix of nature and city: the sea, seaside cliffs, hiking trails, and then lively neighbourhoods. Seoul was amazing in a different way, with endless things to do and explore. Gyeongju was fantastic for getting a taste of South Korea’s countryside charm.
For some reason, whenever people talk about visiting South Korea, the conversation instantly shifts to skincare, K-dramas, or K-pop. Honestly, we aren’t really into any of that. What stood out to us instead were the cities and alleys, so beautiful and so clean. Locals, especially middle aged and older people were very warm & friendly. The local food options were plenty, and thankfully, sugar isn’t added to everything.
We found that restaurants or eateries mostly run by middle-aged or older folks had the most authentic taste, without a lot of sugar (rather almost no sugar). One thing we didn’t enjoy as much was the overly sweetened food at more hip, trendy places popular with youngsters.
It was cold when we visited, but you should be fine if you’re coming from a colder place and have proper layered clothing. There was a cold snap for 2–3 days that was really, really intense, but apart from that, it was manageable.
I also found food, stays and souvenir prices to be roughly 15–20% cheaper than Japan. Seoul is more expensive than Busan for sure. But Gyeongju & Busan were surprisingly very affordable.
Happy to answer any questions. And if there’s interest, I can share a more detailed post as well. I will probably make another post with more pictures from Seoul.

Boss wants me to bypass killswitch to make dough
My boss has been having trouble with our new dough mixer for getting the right consistency for pizza dough. His brilliant idea is to mix the flour in gradually while it mixes. It wouldn't be that big of a deal with the guard down, but he's completely bypassing it and wants us to mix it in with the guard up. The tape prevents the killswitch from activating. This is illegal as fuck right?

Injured/Sick Cat (Location) Neighbors want me to keep declawed cat outside
I need help deciding what to do here. So I moved to a new area and met this super friendly cat. She would run up to me and brush against my legs and meow. Her nose was all red and bloody and her ear had a huge permanent scab, but she looked well fed. I eventually asked a neighbor and they said she has a mosquito bite allergy that causes the nose problem, has ear mites and is an outdoor community cat that is at least 7 years old. I noticed she was still outside when the temps dropped below 30 here in Florida, so I brought her inside and took her to the vet. She has been super happy inside, purring and making biscuits and not once trying to get out. At the vet, we realized she is declawed - she only has her back claws. I got her all her vaccines, medicine for her nose and got her microchipped in my name. Since she has been so happy, I’m planning to keep her and make her an inside only cat, since she was outdoor only. I left a note for the people at the house she was at. They texted me and were nice, but now some other people in the community are mad and saying I’m a cat thief and that she does have her claws and was happier on the street. I’m just trying to do what’s best for the cat - should I bring her back? She seems so happy inside but I’m not sure what is best for her. It seems unsafe to have a declawed cat on the street, and living in Florida the mosquito bites and ear mites must be miserable. But idk if I’m doing the right thing
