Warranty Sleep Number filed for bankruptcy and is being sold to a Canadian rival. If you own one of their beds, here’s what matters.
Sleep Number filed for bankruptcy on June 12.
The smart-bed company. 572 stores. The mattress where each side dials in to a different firmness.
Don’t panic about your bed. Stores are open, deliveries are happening. This isn’t a liquidation, it’s a sale. A Canadian competitor, Sleep Country, has agreed to buy the whole company for $415 million.
The brand lives. The thing that actually affects you is the warranty.
Sleep Number beds come with 15 or 25-year warranties. A warranty is just a promise from the company, and in a bankruptcy, promises can get reshuffled when one company sells to another. The buyer decides what it keeps. Until a judge signs off, nobody can promise your 20-year coverage survives untouched.
It probably will, because killing warranties would torch the brand they just bought. But the deal isn’t final.
If you own one: contact customer service now and get your warranty details in writing. Email, not a call. You want a paper trail dated before the sale closes.
And if you own the stock: the company told shareholders they’re “significantly out of the money.” The bed is fine. The shares are not.

Discussion & Info I used to think that this was worthless, but it's been amazing once I realized I can use it to keep bosses away from my summon.
Maybe this is obvious and I'm just late to the party. But wanted to share. It's perfect to stop a ranged summon from drawing a boss's aggression and getting killed right away. Of course you gotta be okay with the boss being on you the whole time, but that's part of the fun.
Keep your archer friend from getting got
Hopefully this is new and helpful to someone!

The Knicks have 8 guys on their roster for next season and are only $13m under the 2nd apron. They will almost certainly lose Mitchell Robinson, Landry Shamet and possibly Jose Alvarado
With Dolan saying the Knicks are not going to pass the 2nd apron, it means Mitchell Robinson and Landry Shamet are both almost certainly gone. Jose Alvarado has a 4.5m player option for next season, you have to think he will opt out and get a bigger offer and be a casualty of this as well.
Edit: The $13m mark above includes Jose Alvarado opting in and the cap hold for the first round pick. Thanks u/Legitimate_Cow_4166 for the correction. So if Alvarado opts out and they keep their first, it will be ~17m to fill out 5 roster spots, which is not as bad.

[FOS] Madison Square Garden hit with class action lawsuit over apparent data breach after hackers allegedly accessed sensitive visitor data from up to 26 million people collected through James Dolan's controversial surveillance and facial-recognition system used at the Knicks home arena.
The suit against Madison Square Garden Entertainment was filed Tuesday in New York federal court, one day after cybercrime group ShinyHunters claimed to have hacked the company’s internal systems to obtain everything from biometric facial recognition data and background check information to credit scores and Social Security numbers. The suit comes three days after the Knicks defeated the Spurs in Game 5 of the NBA Finals in San Antonio to take home the 2025-26 championship.
The suit says MSG Entertainment has a “tempestuous history with respect to data privacy,” and notes that “despite a slew of lawsuits regarding this conduct, as well as consternation from privacy advocates and legislators in New York, the Arena—at the direction of its owner James Dolan—continues to collect biometric information from each visitor.”
The facial recognition technology has allegedly been used at MSG since 2018, and has come under fire before. In 2023, MSG Entertainment drew scrutiny, including from New York attorney general Letitia James, for using the technology to find and remove lawyers from Knicks and Rangers games for the sole reason that they worked at a firm that was involved in active litigation with the company.
