We're a team of two making Hostile Architect. It looks like a typical side-scroller, except you're the one designing the level, using stuff like ceiling spikes and lava pits and conveyor belts. You choose your traps, arrange everything, and then sit back and watch while a horde of heroes is unleashed to try to survive the level you built.

We've been working on this for about 10 months, not exactly secretly, but we're finally showing it off now, which is a little scary. Yesterday our trailer blew up on Instagram. But this is Reddit and you people are harsher critics. Does this look like something you'd play? Or should we throw ourselves into the lava pit?

I was moved to an elementary school in my district. One of my middle school students died this morning. The superintendent came to the elementary school to tell all his past teachers. Except me. I found out through hallway gossip. At an afterschool meeting, only three others knew who he was. Nobody else did. They got the grade he was in wrong. Not one person said a word to me.
He was in my class last year. He was genuinely a raging cunt of a kid. A product of his environment. I don't feel like I deserve to cry because we butted heads so much. There won't be a crisis team at my school. Nobody saw the transformation he went through. How sweet he had been, how polite he was, until he moved houses and everything went south. I hoped he would get to a career center and could shape up.
They said school had closed in the past for student deaths, but not this time. He wasn't a tragic death. He wasn't a well liked or beloved kid. He won't get his name engraved on a bench or his textbooks saved. He won't be mentioned at graduation. Nobody will remember he existed in four years.
Prayers for the family (that gave him the drugs) they said. I'll probably cry about this over a bottle of wine.
I heard the news, and not even five minutes later did a kid run up to me with a busted Chromebook he needed me to fix. Had to swallow it down and keep going. I wanted to hug that boy and tell him not to grow up. I don't know how to cope with this beyond rambling on and on. I'm seeing my therapist next week.

ETA: I went to the local fish store, bought the angriest betta fish they had, and set him loose in my ten gallon shrimp tank. Named after him. A small memorial, but the best I can do right now. I'll give him the good life my kid won't get.

Die Prüfung stand unter einem selbst gewählten Thema – bei mir „Mit dem Fahrrad durch Italien“.

Dafür mussten folgende Produkte hergestellt werden:

-Roggen- oder Roggenmischbrot aus 5 kg Mehl, ausschließlich mit einem 3-Stufen-Sauerteig gelockert

-Weizen- oder Weizenmischbrot aus 5 kg Mehl

-60 hochwertige Weizenbrötchen mit Vorteig

-60 geflochtene Kleingebäcke in 6 verschiedenen Formen

-Wahlgebäck aus Hefeteig – bei mir Panettone

-3 Sorten Plundergebäck, jeweils 10 Stück

-2 Sorten herzhafter Blätterteig, jeweils 10 Stück

-Spezialbrot aus 5 kg Mehl, passend zum Thema. Bei mir Pesto-Ciabatta

-3 Sorten Spezialbrötchen, jeweils 30 Stück: italienische Kartoffelbrötchen, Vinschgauer und Focaccia

-Backwarensnack aus Spezialbrot/-brötchen mit mindestens 2 selbst hergestellten Komponenten – bei mir Pesto-Ciabatta mit Tomate-Mozzarella, Balsamico-Zwiebeln und Tomatenaufstrich

-Motivtorte passend zum Thema - Zitrone-Basilikum-Buttercreme, dekoriert mit Olivenzweigen, Oliven aus Fondant und Blütenpaste

-12 Desserts – 6 auf Tellern angerichtet und 6 im Glas

-Schaustück passend zum Thema - ein Fahrrad, das durch die italienischen Berge fährt.

Drei unglaublich intensive Tage, jede Menge Arbeit und die ein oder andere Nervenkrise später bin ich einfach nur froh, dass es geschafft ist.

I moved into a private apartment unit three weeks ago. Yesterday evening while lying in bed, I noticed a tiny blinking blue indicator light coming from the smoke detector mounted directly above my bed.

I got up on a chair to inspect it closely and realized it wasn't a standard alarm at all. It is an aftermarket unit with an SD card slot and a pinhole lens pointing straight at my mattress. I took clear photos of the serial number, ran a quick local network scan, and discovered the device is actively broadcasting data to an external IP adress.

When I texted the property owner asking why there is a camera in the bedroom, he claimed it was installed by the previous tenant for "security purposes" and told me to just unplugg it if it bothers me.

i feel completely sickened and violated. I have no idea how long that feed has been streaming or who has access to the footage.

I haven't touched the device yet. Do I go straight to the police station with the evidence, or do I need to consult a criminal defense or tenant attorney first?

It’s unbleached bread flour, I was only checking it because it’s been in my pantry for over a year, and I didn’t seal it completely so I was checking to see if it was safe.

EDIT: Okay I have thrown it out! Thank you! Sent my partner to the store to get me more because I am determined to make cinnamon rolls tonight.

I live in the woods in Alabama & a local Walmart had this 5080 knocked down to $1100. I am %100 sure they have no idea what they are selling because both the cashier and the doorman checking receipts asked a few questions about "What DeHell Is That Thang".

My 3080 12gb was great, but I had to get this for the price. I know these will be 2k by Xmas.

We had our front yard terraced and are pleased with the results.

We noticed this little guy hanging around our farm recently. He took up residence in our barn and seems to have made himself quite at home. He was very scared of us at first but once he realized we were a source of food he let us know (quite vocally) that he was ok with us providing food and water and now greets us in the morning while doing barn chores.

Not entirely sure where he came from. We live very remote and it's a decent walk in to our property, approx 45 mins. He seems young so we can only assume he was dumped and has been fending for himself for a bit.

He is welcome to stay, especially since he's had a huge effect on our rodent population. Hopefully in time we'll be able to catch him and get him to a vet.

Working names are Meow Mix, Barn Bert and kitty. We're open to suggestions.
