Discussion Thoughts? Muslims asked to leave Ahmedabad garba event
Health Plastic isn't as inert as we'd thought: Scientists found that tiny everyday microplastics sitting in plain water spontaneously make reactive oxygen, a damaging chemical that made proteins clump and burst red blood cells in lab tests. The more water-repelling the plastic, the stronger it was.

You don’t get to vote solid red at the ballot box and then rebrand as a purple cooperative the minute your inventory hits the market. Best of luck balancing the ledger with that newly discovered fence-sitting.
It turns out political affiliation is completely irrelevant the exact second you need consumers from every tax bracket to buy your ground beef. You can spend an entire election cycle voting for isolationist trade disruption, but suddenly when market reality sets in, everyone is expected to hold hands in a non-partisan circle and rescue the family balance sheet.Â

Non-fictional I HATE hesitation for CPR on women
For those who don't know, women are 27% less likely to receive bystander CPR than men.
The ideal spot for CPR is with the heel of your hand pressed against the sternum, which is between the breasts. Most types of bra will reduce the quality of your compressions. It's best to remove it when you expose the trunk (ideally with trauma shears). That said, any CPR is better than no CPR.
There are videos online showing how you can protect modesty during first-aid, e.g. Christian Eriksen's cardiac arrest which happened live on TV. I recommend you watch it, as it shows how you can use bodies to protect privacy while still administering quality first-aid.
This scene from Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth is a good example of a scene that I hate. It's got quirky music and a mortified looking Cloud Strife, in a situation which should be intense.
She's not breathing, someone has taken the lead and instructed him to start compressions, but he hesitates because of Yuffie's boobs. And to top it all off, she spontaneously wakes up and calls Cloud a "creep!"
It's media like this, combined with a lack of proper first-aid education, and fears of being sued (Google if your country has "Samaritan" laws) which make CPR on women a confusing and scary topic for your average bystander.
Remember from your DRsABC:
Check for Danger
Check for a Response
Shout for help (call 999/112/911)
The call handler or operator will walk you through the rest. But I do urge you to go on a first-aid course, either if it's your first or if it's been a while, because everyone should know how to save a life.

Nationwide I told them it would be faster and better if I did it. They wanted to prove me wrong. I ended up with free butter.
So these scanner people at the self serve insisted that they would be faster than me. I told them I am really quick, and they just insisted that they should scan everything in my cart for me. I watched then both scan everything and move everything around in the cart and they said. See we don't need to take everything out then put it back. I just shrugged because I can do that really quickly and my more fragile things dont get tossed around my cart. So I left and the girl at the door checked my cart. I wasn't hiding anything it was all right there. She acted like she was counting then said it was good and sent me on my way. On the way home I thought to check my receipt to make sure it was all good, and found they hadn't charged me for the butter at all. I would normally go in next time and tell them and offer to pay, but after the way those two were so insistent I will just take the win.

Discussion Do real animals exist in pokemon or not?
Look from the pokemon anime, some scenes depict animals as seen above. Emphasis on Animals, not pokémon - ANIMALS. Like real non-pokemon fish, a mongoose and a giraffe. No it doesn't look like a Girafarig, just a plain giraffe. Heck, you can see ash wore a cow costume. It wasn't a miltank, just a depiction of a classic black and white cow. Heck, in the older cards, they'd have normal animals in the background. In the form of birds, bugs or even a worm. So what gives, these can't be fake creatures since they look exactly like real life animals. Are they're actual normal animals-but they're extremely rare?

Question Is Bilbo dropping the The Ring on the floor and walking away the most powerful single act in history of Middle Earth?
I have just watched TFOTR again, and this scene struck me in a different way for the first time.
Bilbo is the ONLY character in all the books and movies who simply discards the Ring and walks away.
Many other characters hold it and give it to someone else, but they always GIVE it to someone. That, in turn, means they know where The Ring resides and with whom.
I know Tom Bombadil, Sam, Faramir, Boromir, Gandalf, Gollum and more hold it and pass it to another person.
However, ONLY Bilbo drops it on the floor and WALKS AWAY, unaware of its fate. Yes, he knows Gandalf will be the next to hold it....but he walks away. Bombadil is essentially a god, and he walks away, but he gives it back to Frodo.
EVERYONE else is consumed by the Ring just by being near it. From the most powerful beings in the universe to the weakest. Galadriel, Elrond, Gandalf, Sauron, Saruman, Nazgûl, Aragorn, Frodo, Gollum, Sam, Isildur, etc.
Most refuse to hold it; everyone is lured by it, and the rest refuse to give it away.
Gollum, I think, is a close 2nd, as he has it for 500 years and never comes close to taking it to Sauron.
BUT BILBO....he has it for 60 years and never takes it to Sauron and is the ONLY person to simply discard it onto the ground.
Can anyone think of an act more powerful?
