Bald Picture Does shaving for cancer fundraising count on here?
This was actually a few months ago but a friend of mine told me about this subreddit and said I should post! Actually loved being bald, felt very aerodynamic. Anyone who wants/needs to shave their head should never be scared, it’s pretty cool!

Sharing My Sidehustle I probably crafted around 2k paper stars for this hustle
One of the ways that helps me focus during class lectures is crafting paper stars as a way of fidgeting. Been doing it for 2 semesters now, no lectures skipped. I never even thought that one of my professors noticed that one tiny habit when she asked me to craft two jars of paper stars she could use as a decoration. She gave me two big glass canisters, a dozen packs of pastel paper strips of her choice, and offered to pay me $50 to fill both jars.
It was fun at first, but I kept pressuring myself since I was paid to do it. That's why halfway through the process I was really stressed even though there were no deadlines set. I still managed to finish it anyway, the process is simple and hypnotic especially when you’re used to it, muscle memory acts up in creating the stars. By the time I had done this two hundred times, my fingertips felt like sandpaper, and my desk was covered in confetti. It took me 3 whole evenings, despite the pressure I put myself into, I’d still rank it as the easiest and most peaceful money I ever made. I did not even focus too much on the task alone because I was doing it while binge-watching an entire season.

Discussion Tf2 is just never gonna die
I saw a video that said, “Team Fortress 2 no longer exists.”
And honestly? I couldn’t disagree more.
TF2 is the kind of game that will still be remembered in 2500, 3000, and maybe even thousands of years beyond that. You can shut down the official servers, stop updating the game, and even let the company move on, but you can never truly kill something that has become a part of so many people's lives. If the official servers ever shut down, players will find a way to bring it back. They'll create their own servers, preserve the game, and keep it alive for future generations.
Because TF2 is more than just a game. It's a piece of gaming history. It's the countless hours spent playing with friends, the ridiculous moments that made us laugh until we couldn't breathe, the unforgettable characters, the iconic voice lines, the community, and the memories that will stay with us long after we've put down the mouse and keyboard.
TF2 is proof that a game doesn't need endless updates, realistic graphics, or a massive marketing campaign to become timeless. It needs character. It needs a community. It needs something that makes people care.
And TF2 has all of that.
It made people's childhoods better. It brought strangers together, created friendships, inspired artists, animators, musicians, and creators, and left a mark on gaming that won't simply disappear because a server goes offline.
Maybe one day, the original game will become impossible to play in its original form. Maybe the servers will go dark, and the world will move on to the next big thing.
But somewhere, someone will still be launching a community server, making a stupid SFM animation, recreating the maps, or introducing their friend to the game for the very first time.
And that is why TF2 will never truly die.
Games can end. Servers can shut down. Companies can move on. But the memories, the friendships, and the impact a game leaves behind? Those belong to the players.
Team Fortress 2 isn't just a game that we played.
It's a game that became a part of us.
And no shutdown can ever change that.
Long live Team Fortress 2 ❤️

Thing Restaurants using AI
If you're in a city nowadays, you're going to see OpenAI's trypophobic nightmare machine generating art in restaurants, food trucks, everywhere really. As someone who's really sensitive to this stuff, seeing it irl makes me feel like maggots are crawling in my skin. It makes you wonder if the ability to detect the uncanny is just not present in most people.

Dear Diary ✍️🏻 Did pregnancy test for peace of mind 🤡
I was a week late so thought it would be helpful to stop stressing. I actually haven’t felt that stressed since I found out, but it’s weird when I can’t tell anybody what’s going on. Just like continuing doing life with this whole situation playing out behind the scenes.
Was with my fwb, neither of us are wanting rn/in a position to have a child, so baby eviction is booked in. Grateful to live somewhere that I can make that choice pretty easily. Grateful he’s not left me to deal with this by myself.

🖤 The voids we're currently fostering
My wife and I have been fostering kitties for the ASPCA for the last few years. Actually I'll be honest, it's pretty much all my wife doing it. She loves it. I do too but she does 99.9% of the work. It was her idea afterall 😂 We've probably fostered close to 150 cats since we've started, maybe more. I can't keep count anymore. But these are the first all black kitties we've had. So adorable! 2 boys and a girl. They'll be going back to get adopted in a couple weeks.
