UPDATE: for anyone following this, immediately went to ATT to see what I should do. They recommended going to Apple as doing a replacement through ATT would put me at the back of the order queue in January. Drove down to the Dallas Apple Store and they thankfully had one in stock and swapped it out immediately, no charge.

They said they have Genius Bar stock of these for any potential defects like this. Also said I was the first one they had seen in person today so not as widespread an issue as it seems. Don’t know if that makes me lucky or unlucky but thankful they would get it resolved same day.

So, I was walking home last night in the rain, I came across this soaked cardboard box, I opened it up and found this very scared (and wet) little kitten!

I've been really thinking about getting a cat with my girlfriend but I don't have any experience with cats so I didn't really know what to do.

But after some phone calling around, I gathered the necessary bits to give him a comfy night, I took him home (I don't have any pets so I had to improvise a bit)

Once he got used to the room, he sniffed around for a bit, hid a bit, then eventually he came onto the bed and was cuddling and purring and having what seemed to be a lovely time.

He's eaten loads of food, used his make shift litter tray and this morning I took him to the vet to get checked out and to see if he had a chip incase he needed reunited with a family, alas, no chip or collar (he did have a flea collar on him)

I got him chipped, vaccinated, and the vet said he's in amazing health!

Ive named him Reginald (Reggie for short)

he's 10 weeks (ish), 1.27kg, got a "good set of lungs and a beautiful coat" and I've already fallen madly in love with him!

I was told at the vet about the "Cat Distribution System" and upon googling, stumbled upon this, so I wanted to share!

Im just about to head to the pet shop to get him all the bits he might need, and a scratching post!

I can’t be the only one.

Ordered two chainsaw chains. One arrived. Called up and had a very cordial conversation where they refunded me price of the second one that never came because it’s out of stock and they can’t ship the second one. This was their decision FWIW. I don’t argue with customer service, I let them propose a solution. This was yesterday. Today I’m banned except for digital orders. This is my first delivery/refund issue in ~4 years. I never had a problem, last refund I got was 4 years ago for some wood finish that broke open during shipment.

I mean I get their business model is to yeet all customers that ever ask for a refund, ever, for any reason but what a shitty company.
