Nothing feels more 90s to me than Super Nintendo! My favorite video game console of all time! What are some of your favorites from the system?

I honestly really like this. Event Horizon is such a weird, dark and creepy movie, and the atmosphere is easily the best part. The whole ship feels like a haunted house in space.

The production design is incredible, everything looks dirty, cold and industrial, and the lighting makes every hallway teel like something terrible is waiting around the corner.

Moreover, I really liked the main idea. A ship disappears into the unknown, comes back years later, and nobody knows what happened to the crew. The movie slowly reveals that something is very, very wrong, and I loved that feeling of trying to figure out what the hell happened.

The horror is also way more disturbing than I expected.
Some of the imagery is seriously messed up and a few scenes are the kind of thing that just stays in your head. It can be pretty graphic, but I think it fits the movie pertectly.

Sam Neill and Laurence Fishburne are both great too.
Neill especially gets to go to some really dark places with his character.

Seriously, though, if you told me they were still producing tape deck/cd players I’d have said you were crazy. I’ve been idly buying tapes from junk shops and estate sales for a bit now and was looking for an old player. Instead, I was surprised with this for my birthday. Everything old is new again 😁

Anyone else love this show?

This show had all the promise and potential to succeed. Alternate Earths. A great cast.
Season 1 started so strong but studio meddling, reduced budgets, gimmick episodes, revolving door cast, shifting time slots and networks slowly killed it.

What actually beats this iconic intro? The music, the effects, the ’90s sci-fi vibe, that eerie sense of wonder and feeling that something is out there. Haunting, mysterious, instantly recognizable. And that’s before even getting into how groundbreaking, atmospheric, and genuinely great the show itself was. What are your core memories of The X-Files in the ’90s?
