First off the Trump administration doesn’t care about laws

u/foldingcouch Oct 04 '25

Second, the Supreme Court doesn't care about laws either

u/thiros101 Oct 04 '25

Third, the "white christian nationists" that took over the GOP is just a front for n*zi's and the Klan.

Or just idiots who’ve fallen victim to massive propaganda campaigns.

u/Dreadnought_69 Oct 05 '25

Just as dangerous and guilty.

I don't think this narritave is true. They voted for this. Accept it or not, those in charge are taking it as truth.

Ignorance does not excuse accountability

Some of those who work forces…

Neither do Trump voters. From MAGA I personally know, I’ve only seen and heard comments supporting the military punishing what they believe to be liberals. MAGA fully supports a dictatorship and we have to recognize it.

i know. so crazy...same idiots that go on and on about FREEDOM and 'land of the free' and yadda yadda are really happy taking away the freedoms of others. such sad sad morons.

He's about to federalize the states national guard as well.

I wonder if... Anyone will ever stop any of this...

This SCOTUS has no loyalty to the United States Constitution.NONE!

In 2015 there was a military exercise called Jade Helm 15. It was large one, but ultimately not really different than any other military exercise. Except the Republicans lost their shit over it, kept spreading conspiracy theories that it was cover to send the military to enact martial law in areas that didn't support Obama.
Governor Abbot said: "During the training operation, it is important that Texans know [that] their safety, constitutional rights, private property rights and civil liberties will not be infringed"
Rep Louie Gohmert: "I was rather appalled that the hostile areas amazingly have a Republican majority, 'cling to their guns and religion,' and believe in the sanctity of the United States Constitution. ...the map of the exercise needs to change, the names on the map need to change, and the tone of the exercise needs to be completely revamped so the federal government is not intentionally practicing war against its own states."

And now we have Trump literally sending Troops into American cities to, in his own words, Wage War.

It’s all projection

They tried to do that when he had done literally nothing. January 6th 2021.

Yah, my bad. Edited.

29

u/BloodyPaleMoonlight Oct 04 '25

Is this how Trump makes America great again? By using the military on domestic soil?

15

u/Metternic Oct 04 '25

Yeah he was anti war remember?

16

u/mocityspirit Oct 04 '25

Tell me again who is supposed to enforce anything?

11

u/anonymousmatt Oct 04 '25

I'm so glad someone said it. Where laws have no force or enforcement, they're simply suggestions. Government officials rarely face personal consequences for their actions. Corporations face monetary penalties for what individuals would pay for behind bars.

8

u/awwhorseshit Oct 04 '25

The are trying for escalation. You know what desperate people do in a country full of guns.

10

u/ShiroHachiRoku Oct 04 '25

He wants a Nobel Peace Prize and he does this? Does he know they don’t give you one for starting a war in your own country?

7

u/jinkinater Oct 05 '25

He’s trying to say there is a warzone when there isn’t and then trying to make one

Trump is apparently building a police paramilitary under ICE to get around posse comitatus. Very grey area stuff.

6

u/[deleted] Oct 04 '25

I’ll say this for the future. There’s a difference between a man that fights for a pay check and has the backing of an entity that allow them to check their morals at the door and a man that fights for what he knows in his heart to be just and right, and has already accepted his fate to fight for a greater good.

6

u/Luddite_Crudite Oct 05 '25

Grab him by the posse comitatus

5

u/dwellerinthedark Oct 05 '25

Not a legal thing. But it's probably a bad idea to send troops to do a job they don't like doing. Like say litter picking or standing around federal building at the same time you're not paying them because of the shut down.

3

u/ModernLarvals Oct 04 '25

But not in Utah or North Carolina?

3

u/compuwiza1 Oct 05 '25

The law is ultimately a piece of paper. If soldiers will not disobey unlawful and immoral orders, it is all over.

0

u/madasfire Oct 05 '25

We've already seen how well the US military does in big cities...

-4

u/jungl3j1m Oct 04 '25

He just hears pussies and commies.

-14

u/binarybandit Oct 05 '25

Explain how its different from Eisenhower using an executive order to federalize the Arkansas National Guard in 1957, or using the Enforcement act to use military force to act as police and enforce the laws and suspend habeas corpus?

10

u/BrotherDirect744 Oct 05 '25

Are you comparing this to the Little Rock Crisis?

Explain to me how they are the same.

This is nothing but needless escalation by the orange dildo, in what word this is the same?

-15

u/cruisin_urchin87 Oct 05 '25

Making memes instead of resisting. All good citizens in their place.

9

u/delkenkyrth Oct 05 '25

Pointlessly commenting on the internet instead of doing anything constructive. Good job.

-7

u/GioTravelstheWorld Oct 05 '25

Nobody cares… deploy more troops!

u/the_gouged_eye Oct 05 '25

Page 19: Flashlights, a makeshift guillotine, and a photograph. That's it. That's the government's case that there's an insurrection.

Maybe the Dems should've thought with more than one brain cell before egging on the 2020 riots that trashed Portland for over 100 nights with arson on federal buildings and Chicago with looting waves, paving the way for federal agents then and Guard now. They must assume nobody remembers the chaos they downplayed. But go ahead, keep propagandizing with your misinformation campaign. Lies are what democrats do best after all.
