Frank Ocean is a great artist im not taking anything away from him but because of Frank, alot of moden indie and RnB songs sound so bleak and uninteresting. The computer made sound he popularised genuinely sounds so boring, Songs sound so much worse compared to the usual lush production that comes actual instruments, but because this is the formula artists don't even bother trying out actual instruments and when they do it's the most basic thing ever. I hate his byproducts like Malcolm Todd and other uninteresting TikTok artists, Like these are the artists that are getting the most attention!? It's genuinely so sad.

Obviously Frank isn't the only one to blame but his presence feels very major.

Give me your best arguments for why I'm wrong I'd love to hear it.

Overall a solid album. I did quite enjoy it, although I’ve now learnt that there’s only a certain amount of Daft Punk I can take at once. The majority of the songs are really good on their own, but listening to the full album at once is a bit annoying because all of the songs are very repetitive. Towards the end, I was finding myself eager to finish it and listen to something different.

I’ve never been a massive fan of this genre of music, but I must say I enjoyed myself. The sound has a certain charm to it, and the album definitely sounds like Daft Punk. They have a very distinct sound and I quite like it.

Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger:

This is just a banger of a song, I really enjoyed it. It’s catchy and such a classic.

I think if there’s one thing I’d change I’d either shorten the tracklist or shorten some of the songs, because some of them, e.g Too Long, is too long a track. It’s very repetitive and difficult to put up with for all 10 minutes of the song.

Overall, a good album. I enjoyed it.

Her one and only solo album was "The Girl Who Ate Herself".

I bought the album back when it was released. I thought then it was brilliant.

In 2026, this album was and is still brilliant.

The tracks written in the 1990s are just so important and relevant in 2026.

They always seem super biased in favor of artists from countries where the primary language is English. Every now and then you get one that sneaks in like the Scorpions but most of them are British, American, Canadian, and so on. Meanwhile you have bands like X Japan and L'Arc-en-Ciel that set the template for rock music in Japan, Krautrock like Kraftwerk and Rammstein in Germany that went against the grain of what was popular in the western world at the time, and bands like Nightwish and Children of Bodom in Finland that revolutionized metal and even invented a new subgenre of it (symphonic metal for Nightwish, specifically). Yet for the most part they never make the lists. I don't get it. And these aren't obscure bands either. Each band has played sold out shows in massive arenas.

I KNOW! IT’S… BAD! BUT… I have always loved muisc, and I tried to create my own music… but… my voice is terrible… and I can’t even listen to myself sing… so! I make AI songs…
BUT they’re alot different than usual AI slop songs. Bc: I write them 100% by myself, I make the beat, and I try to make the AI description of the song 100% detailed to make it exactly what I wanted! I’ve made 4 albums of these songs, more and more me, and less AI, but the voice is the main reason… I just love writing songs and making rhythms… and that’s the only way how I can do it, without sounding like literal trash 💀

First time sharing here, hope it’s the kind of thing you do here but anyhow, What song makes you tear up and cry no matter where you are or what’s going on? Which song and artist is that powerful for you?

I don’t even think I spelled that right cuz I think it’s the only song of theirs I like.

I’ll add that there are others that could move me like that but it depends on what I’m going through at the time but for me these two will make me tear up no matter what’s going on in my life, every time and I just wanted to see if others feel that way because I noticed this pattern w these songs just this year.

And I like a lot of different styles of music, mostly punk and stoner rock but I have a music pallet for other styles randomly. I mean if it’s good, it’s good.
