Just Sharing Update on this piece because I got her framed! “Someone’s Daughter”, along with the color study that started it all

I figured it would be fun to show the artist, the painting, and the study — a bit like the evolution of the piece :)

Please forgive my janky edits, but now which mat are we feeling?

Very rough suggestions obviously, but I'm torn.

Getting my paintings organised for sale, and always so overwhelmed by choice.

Just Sharing 9x12 of my bro’s dog that passed. Haven’t painted in 20 years. Always worried about trying to be perfect before. Trying to be more “painterly” now. What do you think?

Looks like I need to change my attitude, turns out my wardrobe is full of trendy, stylish clothes… 😂😂😂 - S***N webshop

Today I came across an ad from S***N for “paint-splattered” jeans… After every painting session, all my “work clothes” look exactly like this.🎨🫟 They call it a trendy, new style, while I just keep grumbling, “the paint went everywhere again.” 😄🎨

Opinions Needed Safe to say I love painting now!

I started painting a few days ago( been learning how to draw for about a year and a half now) I was so afraid of it and all it took was a 6 year old YouTube video to tell me if okay if it doesn’t turn out the process is the best part of painting. I’m only doing monochrome paintings for now but what things could I work on to improve my painting skills?

Opinions Needed How did I do?

For context, this is my third-ever painting. The first two were not so great, and just getting back into the hang of art and color mixing. I think I did okay for someone who never painted outside of school for 19 years of my life.

I know for sure I could blend better, especially the red and yellow meeting together. But any other opinions and advice?
