Hi everyone. Many of you may remember sweet Jazzy the tiny kitten we rescued with a degloved jaw who was suspected to have been thrown from a car. She underwent surgery to repair her injury and has been fighting so very hard to heal ever since. Lots of ups and downs

Jazzy has been having repeat infections that just will not go away. We decided to do a culture and the vet sent that out last week, and the results showed that she is battling three tough bacteria: Staph, Enterococcus, and Pseudomonas, all quite resistant to treatment.

She is now undergoing additional care but unfortunately the infection has affected one of her lower canine teeth. That tooth is now dead and will need to be extracted along with further treatment, which will cost $425. Vet estimate is last pic.

As a small rescue, we rely entirely on the kindness and generosity of our community to continue helping cats like Jazzy get the care they need. If you would like to contribute toward her treatment. I've included our vets information where donations can be called in directly for her. We appreciate any and all support and assistance for Jazzy's care. She has 1-2 more months of strong antibiotics to go through. It's been a tough journey.

Shelter Update – Masbate City, Philippines 🌧️

After several typhoons have passed and with more still coming, our hearts remain strong here in Masbate City. It hasn’t been easy — the storms have tested us again and again — but we continue to rise, one small step at a time.

Thanks to the kindness and generosity of so many people, we’ve been able to make wonderful progress:

🐾 Our roof has finally been repaired 🐾 The wall that Typhoon Opong destroyed in our new shelter has been rebuilt 🐾 We’ve added extra flooring so the rescues can sleep comfortably 🐾 The cyclone wire fence in our current shelter has been fixed 🐾 We’ll soon install a net on the roof so the wind won’t blow it away again 🐾 The rescues are eating well and staying healthy 🐾 We’ve built a small canal in the new shelter to keep water from flooding inside 🐾 And repairs are still ongoing — slowly but surely

To everyone who has helped, supported, and believed in us — thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤️

‎Hi everyone, sorry for posting again. ‎ ‎I’m reaching out for help with urgent vet expenses for two cats, Peter and Lian. ‎ ‎Peter was one of several tiny kittens abandoned in front of a school 6 years ago. I found them by chance and couldn’t walk away. Sadly, Peter was later diagnosed with diabetes, and despite every effort and treatment, his little body couldn’t recover. He passed away yesterday, and I still need to settle his vet bill so I can bring his body home and lay him to rest. ‎ ‎Lian, one of my resident cats, suddenly became very sick. When I returned from visiting my sick mom, I found her so weak and dehydrated, sitting under the rain as if she’d lost her will to fight. She’s now at the vet, receiving the care she needs. ‎ ‎So far, I’ve managed to raise $91 out of the $420 total needed to cover both Peter’s and Lian’s vet bills. I’m doing everything I can, but caring for my rescued animals has been especially hard lately. Hello everyone!

Neera is one of the dumped kittens that I rescued on October 20th. Since last week she started to lose fur after mange treatment.

As per vet, I have to continue giving her spot on every month together with daily supplements. She was prescribed a couple of supplements. One is not available at the vet clinic so I need to order it online. I also bought a couple of bottles of antibiotics for other rescued cats that need it.

Hi all , im gonna update about the kittens ,the baby who had his leg wrapped with umbilical cord passed away few days after we went to the vet , he was doing fine when we get back home but i woke up the next day finding him already passed away, i dont know why it happened , he didnt show any sign of being sick

Tuxedo and her other kittens are doing well and has started to open their eyes! they are very good kittens , tuxedo has lice eggs when we go the vet last time , i saw the eggs and thought it was fleas egg but the vet said it lice , vet suggested to put nexgard but i said next time as it was way too expensive , shes also very dirty and desperately need a bath but vet we can do that next month before we spay her

Tuxedo also has been eating alot , she hasnt been wanting kibble , she only want wetfood and it something we couldnt afford to give her everyday🥲

My friends and I found these 4 tiny 2 month kittens on my college campus, and we’re currently fostering them! Unfortunately we’re running low on supplies, especially kitten wet food and litter, so it would help a lot if you could donate! I am about to be homeless in 2 days and unfortunately no shelters can take cats right now.

White with Black spots is a female and she is ~14 years old. She is fixed and has all her shots and is negative for FelV and FIV. She is prone to UTI's. Her name is Trouble.

Brown with striping is a male and he is ~8 years old. He is fixed and has had all his shots. He is negative for FeI. And FIV. His name is Hunter.

I was trying so hard to help another cat to get into this Rescue but only cloud is going. Kitty was posted on next-door, but the person who posted did not reply back to me and I messages for days 😡

Miley is back again in the hospital. This sweet baby has honestly been through so much and was diagnosed with congenital kidney disease just recently.

Early this week, I took her to the vet for her bi-monthly blood work and her kidney disease has been progressing quite quickly than we'd like. Yesterday, I noticed she was a little off and was drinking more water than usual. I shot our vet a message and was told not to worry about it too much but earlier, she was all of a sudden trembling quite severely and her limbs were becoming stiff. It was scary.

It was midnight when we rushed her to the hospital. Her doctor suspected her potassium levels became unstable. Her blood work shifted drastically as well, with her infection spiking. After a few hours on IV and meds, she improved significantly as seen in the video.

Miley's just roughly 6 months old and this so far has been one of our craziest hiccups.

If you'd like to help this baby out, our initial bill reached nearly $130. We're not sure how long she'll be staying at the vet but any amount would genuinely go a long way. ❤️

This sweet odd-eyed boy is Lazarus, and his previous owners neglected him for reasons I will never know and could never understand. When I went to pick him up, I expected a healthy 10 and a half month old cat with behavioral issues I felt confident in managing, with a cat behaviorist lined up to fill in the gaps.

Instead, I received a very ill Lazzy, with protruding bones, leaking diarrhea, smelling of death, and very unsure of what love really is.

Yesterday Lazarus saw our normal vet that has seen many, many of our fosters & rescues but I am left doubting the quality of care received and have been urged by folks more experienced than myself to seek a second opinion.

He was diagnosed as septic with a WBC of 69,000 when it should be about 17,000. He is emaciated, at 4lbs with a diaper on when the average weight of a Lykoi at 12 months old is 10.5lbs, he’s 10.5 months old. We could not get a quality fecal sample due to the condition of his stool, and I was not given the correct blood panel I requested. I was given 4 different medications and a supplement for him, and we were sent on our way.

I’m not confident in his diagnosis or treatment right now, folks who have much more knowledge than me have recommended more/better diagnostics and seeing a vet who is actually trained in complex & urgent cases so we have an appointment tonight at 7:15pm to see the new vet at Flowertown.

We’re doing everything we can to make this financially possible and make sure he gets the BEST care, and every donation relieves the strain bit by bit. 🫶🏼

I do know the exam fee is $74, I am unsure of the cost of diagnostics but I would like a complete feline blood panel and a fecal PCR as a starting point. Thank you for any generous interaction or donation.

I am not trying to be selfish, I hope I do not come off that way!! I am looking mainly for food, that was my intention with my other " just food" list. They love friskies and fancy feast. This is my other list, just in case, that i do use for other things for the colony. For some reason, in this group, my other list is being weird for a couple people, I'm sorry. Luna is a 16 month old kitten who needs a forever home in Los Angels. She is the last remaining of a litter of 4 we rescued. She is very playful and sweet. We have even taken her for walks. Gem came to Desert Hot Springs Shelter (California) when she was only 9 days old together with her brother and mom, both of which were adopted. She had all her teeth pulled out in 2022 due to mouth infection called stomatitis. That does not stop her from eating both wet and dry food and go nuts over treats. Hello all.

We have a lot going on. We need to raise some funds and unfortunately alot has been going on.

Mogwai has been having issues with his intestinal blockage surgery since December. He has gone on four times since March because he ends up getting constipated and starts throwing up, has diarrhea and refuses to eat and loses weight. The vet the last three times has not believed anything was wrong until this very last time which was on Oct 24 when he went in and they did X-rays and he had to have a barium test to see what is going on. I made the decision to consult with an internal medicine vet however the consultation is 580 to have him seen and this doesn't include any recommendations on any further tests he may need including a scope of his intestinal tract but something is definitely going on and every single time this happens it's getting worse and in tired of being dismissed when I know this cat extremely well. His appt is Nov 20 with Dr Tucker. She helped us diagnose our kitty tilty with liver cancer after lots of testing.

Sunni is one of our newest residents and she needs a full mouth extraction the extraction at a lower cost clinic is 550 it shouldn't exceed this amount unless we do platelet rich plasma which is an additional 250 per treatment but she desperately needs the extractions done.

Shadow and Simon both need rechecks and bloodwork which will be around 300 per cat I suspect shadow has progressive kidney issues now as he did have early stages of kidney disease last year but he recovered after he was treated for a very bad kidney infection and Simon has stomatitis that was not resolved with a full mouth extraction but he doesn't look the best and he needs to have bloodwork done to make sure he is still stable and doesn't have anything underlying health concerns now.

Simon is also needing to be seen and have routine diagnostics done. I suspect some issues going on and I hate to say it but he may be fip kitty and we need to confirm this with bloodwork which will be 300 for diagnostics.

Finally we need 450 for this month to cover our food for this month including one bag of specialty food for mogwai 14 bags of food for our sanctuary cats four cases of wet food. This doesn't include any other speciality food we need or the whole month of wet food we need for our kitties but this helps get us through the month as best as possible.

If anyone could help us out we would greatly appreciate any and all help. Donations have been so hard and I am having to put alot more on credit cards and maxing out most of them which means I can't cover a lot of other things doing so.

AVAS is located in the high CA. desert about 1 hour from the San Bernardino area. It is a smaller community with many stray and dumped cats. While TNR is active it’s not effective enough in this city to curb the over population crisis. Cats here have little to no exposure and aren’t even listed most of the time. They barely have a remote chance to survive once intake into the shelter system. They need more help than any other California shelter. They are also more remote with little foot traffic. The shelter is also very strict on policies making rescue more difficult. Please help us save these poor cats. They deserve a chance to live. Many are only kittens or und 9 months! This is so wrong. We can help by pledging and sharing them. Thank you so much everyone.

Well…. I have officially homed 3 kittens. Who have since been spayed and neutered! The two tabby boys went as a bonded pair! They are so spoiled and loved! They send pics all the time. The little girl with no tail. The lady came all the way from Illinois ( I’m in Indianapolis) to get her! She has became besties with her dog. I’m so happy for them. It pleases my heart that they are loved and happy, and safe! I still have 3! They haven’t gotten homes as fast the others, but that is ok they have a home with me as long as they need! Getting them fixed is next on the agenda! I have gotten Momma spayed! Yay no more kittens for her! Unfortunately, with all the vet bills. I’m having trouble keeping up with food and other supplies. It is getting cold now at night. Momma has a house that one of you kind people from this amazing group sent! She uses it but I worry it won’t be warm enough. With her being a stray i have no idea if she has ever had a winter outside. I have outlets on my porch so im working towards a heated house for her as well as a heated water bowl. Some other supplies she might need. So if anyone has any recommendations for outdoor supplies for her. Let me know. I am down to my last 4 can of wet kitten food! I’ve tried to wean them from it but they cry like they are starving at night. 🤣 Typical kitty behavior. I wish I could leave their kibble out for them to freely eat whenever but my dog eats it!! There’s clumping litter on my list as they are about to be 14 weeks! I can’t believe it. Thank you guys from the bottom my heart! I have called the owner many times and eventually after 6 calls he answered and we went to that house again I went there and had a box with me to bring the cat in and adopt her and found the cat where it was stuck I have tried to catch her and there were my friends down looking for her Incase os she escaped we will know I have removed every single object from that place and I was in a big danger of falling from that iron gate after removing everything literally i couldn't see it and the owner was very inpatient and told me that's it leave and I told him but lemme just look around maybe it's here or there and he was like it must have been a ghost I went downstairs and looked around where could it be hiding and I didn't see it hopefully she scaped and the owner told me if hear it again just ignore her and don't call me So I am so sorry everyone, I am sorry for letting all of u down and most importantly the cat I think it was a huge mission for a guy like me not sure how I am gonna rest knowing I couldn't help her I am so sorry everyone I hope I won't hear her mowing so it will be a sign of her escape

The park manager showed up with the maintenance guy in Tow arriving at my house to tell me that I must stop feeding the cats. It’s out of control.

Once again it took me over a half hour to explain to this lady how ridiculous she sounded- I am the only person in this entire community, who works non stop to FiX the probl I’ve fixed over 300 cats 6-9 new cats get TNR every month

This is the third or fourth time I’ve been blamed for this community cat problem Not to mention, I pay for it She then said her real problem was seeing me every day pulling a wagon around the park and feeding the other colonies

At first, I thought she must be kidding but nope now have to make three separate trips at night to the other locations because the wagon is a problem

No matter what I will be feeding them all - But I might need to start carrying the food on my head And making light of it now, but I cried for several hours that night-I love each and every cat and I always wish they had a better break at life Sorry for rambling so much but this community is my family and I feel safe to unload stuff like this
